BB, I did ask the question on the results date a few weeks back, the reply was initially mid month, which was then subsequently updated to the end of the month, I would guess 22nd onwards,....GL S

there has been some big political change, company change, broker change, its all in the mix at the moment

i think you either believe thst things will turn from unloved and overlooked or you dont.

we are profitable and have some sound backing. im topping up when i can, but thats just me, blood on the streets and all that.... i dont often win, but when i do, i win big..

Nick read the reply from the company in my post above there are some reasons for the low share price I don't think a delist is on the cards. Bsg they mentioned listing on the main market within 2 years which was a couple of years ago. Who knows - something with the results maybe......

12.5p/14.5p is a hefty spread. Hard to decide if something bad like a delist/cancellation for AIM is being considered or that the market has just let it slip and it's going to surprise us with some great results.

You are welcome guys. Yeah paperclip i was quite reassured and also reckon we could see some stonking results. Whether they will positively move the share price though is of course a whole different matter but we live in hope!!!

Whilst the reply doesn't give too much away I found it quite comforting anyway.
Here is my email and the replies:

Hi,

I am a long term investor in Zoltav Resources and would like some feedback from the company regarding the current share price and if anything is going to be done about it.
Having invested at different times all the way down from 180 I am obviously dismayed at seeing the current mid price of 13.5p.
How does the company view the current price? I assume that you believe that it is well under the level that it should be at for a great producing company with such great licenses and assets?
Do you have some plans to see the share price increased? Why is there so little information imparted to the stock market, we get so few RNSs? Surely a trading update would help?
Previously you mentioned the goal to become a leading mid tier Oil and Gas company and to list on the main market of LSE. Are there any plans for this in the near term.
Is there anything amiss which would explain the current depressed share price that we should be worried about? Is there a funding requirement or a placing coming?
Is the Nomad or broker intending to put out a new 'Research Note' with price target?
Any views that could put my mind at rest would be greatly appreciated, whilst I understand of course that you are not at liberty to divulge any market sensitive information of course.

Dear......

Thank you for your email regarding Zoltav. Let me firstly say that I can certainly understand your frustration with the market's current determination of the value of the company's shares and indeed those of many other companies in the junior E&P sector at present. Neither the general sentiment towards oil and gas stocks, nor current western investor sentiment towards Russia-focused companies are helpful at present.

While Zoltav itself cannot alter the stock market's determination of its share price, I can assure you the company is not satisfied with the market’s determination of its current value and is focusing on delivering operational excellence and on maximising the potential of its assets. We hope in due course - and as sectoral/economic factors improve - that this will indeed be reflected in the company's share price.

I have noted your request for more regular operational/performance updates. I should like to point out that when Zoltav reports the results of its operations twice annually, it does so in extensive detail and I would urge you to read such annual and half-yearly reports (available on Zoltav’s website). The next of these will be published prior to the end of this month and I would encourage you to look out for that.

I am unable to comment on certain of your specific questions, which would constitute price sensitive information; and investors are responsible for their own analysis of their investments.

I do hope, however, that this helps to allay any concerns that the company is not focused on improving its valuation – it certainly is. Like most E&P companies – particularly Russia-focused ones – Zotlav faces headwinds with investor sentiment. However, the company is focused on maximising the potential of its assets to deliver value.

Yes, still got all my OPTI, and in the blue so all good.

my view is pretty much aligned with the info that Paperclip has posted as far as ZOL is concerned. the other share i hold for my pain and misery and pension is PPG

so far retirement is a looooooooooooooong way off...unless i can survive on a box of cornflakes per annum..

True Brad true. Lets hope its proven right sir! Yes I still have all my Opti. Didnt have any funds to top up at 54 although I did get my Dad to buy some more of them then. Do you still have all of yours? I top sliced a few at 98p a few years back and have repurchased at 85 and 65. I still see it being a ten bagger from here in a few years time. In fact OPTI and ZOL are my two for the pension pot and retirement!
