18/3/2009 14:21 | Very quiet here - just 83,400 shares traded over the past month with an aggregate value of less than £3,000 ! There could be a risk of them delisting alongside some 200 other AIM companies who have already done so over the past 9 months. | masurenguy
27/2/2009 17:57 | I used the word fiasco simply because heads rolled as a consequence, and yes the currency situation might make the figures look horrendous | widef
27/2/2009 16:19 | Is Italy a fiasco? I thought it said they had some production problems delaying full production but they had worked them out. I think that possibly we are seeing this company share price affected by that and Russian situation as a whole. If they are being paid in local Russian currency but report in US $ then the figures could make interesting reading with the weakness of Russian currency too. | whonosewhy
27/2/2009 16:07 | IF they are and know so, then I would expect an announcement in due course. I think Italy is behind them now. | azalea
27/2/2009 15:51 | Does anyone know what is happenninghere, Finals out in April are these guys going to exceed market expectations or has the fiasco in Italy severely hampered them | widef
09/2/2009 09:40 | "It would be nice to see an announcement that they have a contract to supply a UK Council though - might raise the profile." That would do more than raise the profile - it would be transformational ! | masurenguy
09/2/2009 08:59 | I heard on the news they could be shipping in 'salt' from as far afield as Tunisia. Zrx issue has been as stated that demand outstrips supply but the facilities in Austria and Italy are closer than Tunisia! It would be nice to see an announcement that they have a contract to supply a UK Council though - might raise the profile. | whonosewhy
08/2/2009 14:41 | It has been reported that UK councils seeking to import road salt from the continent have been offered supplies at exorbitant prices. An opportunity perhaps for ZRX to boost its sales and footprint by undercutting the opposition prices and their far less 'green' product. | azalea
06/2/2009 16:49 | I think the reason the Councils have not gritted the roads is os they lost all our money in Icelandic Banks :-) As for Zirax keep the faith I am not selling out until I get a very fat profit out of this one. If they keep on trashing the share price I think the company will return profit in a Divendend at some stage in the future so not fussed Happy to hold and buy!!! | widef
05/2/2009 09:50 | zrx should come good. I can only see more and more demand for both major product areas - 1. De icing - Zrx always saying they can't get the product out fast enough to meet demand. Many UK councils running out of 'grit' We have yellow grit boxes on our road because it is a bit hilly and they are all empty - council not refilling them means cars can't get up the hills. Helped push four cars up the hill myself this morning - some couldn't make it - no grit available! Perhaps I should give the zrx sales team a call? Keep hearing how good the snow has been in the ski resorts - they need safe approach roads etc. 2. Oil Chemicals - we're going to need to keep getting oil out of the ground and zrx has a product that helps this process. Sooner or later this ha sto show improved share price performance. | whonosewhy
04/2/2009 22:35 | Well done Koolio and welcome aboard the slow train to China. The MM markets are being real cute with these. Constantly messing around with the bid but the offer does not budge and the spread is appalling.....I think they want our shares any views. I do really think these will come good in the next 18months or so | widef
31/1/2009 19:39 | I managed to pick some of these up at less than mid price. Glad to be back in> | koolio
05/1/2009 17:39 | I really don't understand this spread situation - if they are sells then the offer price goes up ? They have kept the spread but increased both the offer and bid price on the quotes by 0.5p. Anyway - I have my monthly investment going on the 7th of the month and every share on my shortlist for a top up has gone up today including this one! Typical timing! | whonosewhy
05/1/2009 17:15 | My dummy run late today suggests they were sells, certainly the 40k trade @ 2p! Heaven knows there is enough snow falling across Europe to galvanise the sales team into action into proving their product's worth and getting some orders in. | azalea
05/1/2009 17:11 | I doubt they were sell, been watching this and I think the MM are playing some cute games. The spread is awful they keep dropping the bid but will not adjust the offer accordingly. Seems to me they are not are not prepared to give these shares away cheap. I.E trying to discourage buying but happy to tke them of your hands. This company with the exception of initial teething problems at the Italian plant have nto put a foot wrong. Cash in the bank and are winning contracts. I think they will win more Oil related business in the months and years ahead. I for one will not be giving my shares away cheap | widef
05/1/2009 16:46 | My very same thoughts. Perhaps we will find out why, later this week. | azalea
05/1/2009 16:38 | 3 sells (apparently) today and we're up 16.7%. Strange to say the least. | jimbox1
02/1/2009 14:03 | Just trying to cheer myself up that at least some of the product will be getting used up! | whonosewhy
02/1/2009 13:42 | Really - is snow in January unusual in Moscow ! | masurenguy
02/1/2009 13:20 | Weather forecast looks like snow in Moscow! | whonosewhy
19/12/2008 10:01 | Azalea appears to be getting offer to buy at 3.4p which is middle of the spread. I can never understand the wide spreads and reducing bid price but not offer or increasing offer price and not bid price ! thanks for your thoughts | whonosewhy
18/12/2008 17:24 | Hi Guys looking at the spread which is ridiculous, it suggest to me that the MM are more that willing to take your shares off your hands but are not going to let them go cheaply. But then again even with such a high spread ppl still appear to be buying which is a good sign | widef
18/12/2008 12:54 | Still 3.4p to buy(20k dummy). | azalea
16/12/2008 01:33 | well good news if they are buys - that is big volume buys for Zirax if they are buys. and yes I'm still clutching at straws here in the hope I'm not an idiot. | whonosewhy
15/12/2008 16:16 | According to the dummy run I just made,the trades @ 3.3p are buys! | azalea |
