Someone thinks Zinc prices are likely to rise......

Bill Hooley, chief executive of Anglesey Mining (LON:AYM), says the firm will move forward with its Parys Mountain zinc-copper lead project in north Wales when the price of zinc picks up.

It’s been a bearish year for zinc prices, but Hooley reckons the metal will be one of the first commodities to move upwards, given a deficit of supply brought on by several mine closures.

Parys has been placed on care and maintenance for now but has the potential to be developed quickly, according to the CEO, once the Zinc rout is over.

I wonder if like last time, if the directors are going to buy their full allotment or as they did even more during the next round of fund raising as in my good opinion will be positive if they do as shows confidence in their own company, ZOX.

AIM stuff certainly but quite unusual to see a 90% fall in a few days. I've seen a few others like ADSS which fell sharply recently and kept falling. The market is doing this more lately and across the board everything is down.

I think these mark downs just create a continual cycle of selling as people try to take cash out of stocks on a tiny rise to reinvest in something cheaper or to pay their next credit card bill. I suppose there will always be the next bunch of mugs lining up with money to shake down.

As I said, not been watching the trades but big sellers as announced today typically causes accelerated falls like this. If ADSS movement is anything to go by, you might see these settle around here and then move up to 1p pending the next batch of news.

frightening indeed and proof that penny aim share stocks are to be punted only and in small. i dont regret going long at 0.95 because i kept things small and felt a turnaround was on the cards. It might be who knows, but it wasnt the right timing for me this time but is also yet another lesson to all that penny share punts are for fun only.

Well, that's a drop of 90% in a few days.

Not been watching the trades but wonder if this drop is all about the potential placing or the Majedie selling out. You would think a bounce at this level but with these markets who can tell.

the rns only confirms a fund raising and let go of 90% of KRPnow if you simply click the link in the rns to read more details you will simply be directed to a nice video on the home page, no circular exists, so speaking of placing at 1p is utter rubbish, they can simply do 10 for 1 split to get a way with a placing at 0.1pwith regards to the share holders list above, again utter rubbish, just go to the company website and you would see Sloane Robinson: 16.66%      International Finance Corporation: 8.41%      Andrew Woollett: 3.31%Capish?

I don't think this was bad news today.The circular says that it is likely that some Directors and major shareholders are going to take part in the placing.They are going to pay 1p a share, that's a premium on today's price.This is not going to fail IMO
