Not going to waste time defending the co's record Ng but in this instance he may have little choice.
Congo's locked down, face masks are mandatory at all public places. theres a shortage of them and congo has put aside $135m to deal with it.
Case of right place right time right background experience/contacts imho.
Doesn't mean they won't make a hash of it but it does have logic.
