ravin(lunatic).. Between me and you..the only one losing thousands is YOU...as you stated you sold out after the share price more than halved, I on the other hand took a £200-£300 hit and moved into other companies, and made the small loss back in no time.... and you hope to jump back on board when the rig turns up...but you have to realise you need to put the clock back a couple of hours, as you need time for new information to sink into that empty cavity between your ears!!.

I've added some excitement to my portfolio...and had a punt on MATD, who have just spudded their first well in Mongolia, with a further 5 wells fully funded going into 2019.

Like all new exploration, this is a gamble...

But look at the 'certainty' there was in ZEN hitting oil over one year ago.


If there's anything the two porkies...Pinky & Perky have trouble understanding from my post of a couple of weeks ago, than I will try and explain to them in a slow methodical manner, as I understand they are quite slow on the uptake....

Muddy. Thanks for that but have the company ever come out and explained any of this? They were adamant that they had 2 top class wells here, if they look as if they can get back to them I may just have a nice punt on them.

Z28 had the pressure leak at the wellhead, they would have been pressure testing and found the wellhead was leaking, thus they had to stop operations due to safety, so they pulled off the 180 ton rig back in December and fixed the leak late January. Since then no rig has been back to the well. about 80% of the workover is complete on this well, only have 64 meters of tubing to mill and then run in with drill bit to clean out. Hopefully the well will flow on completion.

Z21 was the well where the oil was gushing out when a flange on the wellhead blew out. They only started the W/O on that well about March with their own 80 ton rig and gave up as the rig was not BIG enough. I would say they are about 75% complete on this well, and waiting for the 260 ton rig from Italy. They have about 160 meters of tubing in this well to fish out before they can clean the well bore with the drill bit.

I have decided to give sophisticated investors the chance to invest in a mine I have discovered...Well it's an hole actually, but it looks dark and deep...if anyone is interested I usually stand at the top of my hole between 11am -12 noon, if anyone would like to come and view my hole with the view to investing several thousand pounds, please request details of location...

Hi Toonarmy - just to put cards on table, I don't hold, nor have ever held, these. I looked into them a couple of months ago, cos it looked to be very promising, and continue to monitor, but I'm aware of the long track record of not meeting expectations (though in some cases that's what leads to opportunities :-) and the very large payment back to the government that looms over them

There's so much ordinary punters don't get explained to them, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to be much help to you, but I'll have a look... not now, sorry, as I'm off to catch a plane
