It is a PI and Analysts CC, nothing wrong with that, maybe even Malcy will start to cover Zen after, more coverage about the story/assets the better..however we still need to get the results on the ground to move forward.

It's true, at this stage we've seen a presentation in August, supposedly a 'plan' published...why is there need for a CC...just do a podcast.Strategically he should do a conference call just after news on a well...so are we getting news on a well at the end of sept?!Let's see

The CC is just to fill the time, seeing as there dosn't seem to be much going on besides road construction..and as we know its a cattaneo ploy being repeated over, instead of been a presentation its now a cc, which no one will hear anything new .

He likes to hear his own voice.

This cc is for all investors, that cannot attend such presentations. There is a form as you know to submit questions. Andrea will host the call, give a presentation and then answer some of the questions submitted. At least that's how calls I have joined in on before work.

Pleasantly surprised and happy with this news. Slightly sceptical on the investor conference call, as it is at an unusual time. Hoping it not a fund raising prompt or is it the new asset purchase?!Why would we need another presentation after Manchester, last month, surely it is on a new subject matter.All in all, positive

That's just it ravin. If a mistake is made and then corrective action is taken, then the original mistake should be classed as that and put to rest. If the same thing happens again, then that is not a mistake, it is on purpose or simply incompetence and those things should not be forgotten.

We are where we are, they have communicated their forward plan, lets see what is delivered on what is not.

Just because you get the decision right after making a big mistake doesn't make the original decision being forgotten.The ESP delivery are running late.The company has yet to confirm what is going on with well45. If the ESP didn't boost production, just say it and move on.Funding continually for spanners and bolts when they should set a budget and stick to it.

Andrea's only experience in the o and g sector was trading oil from Vietnam. His main areas have been banking, finance and textiles, such as hosiery and socks etc. After this he founded zenith which was originally named canoel international energy.

not sure why he chose canoel, it is either Canadian oil exploration, or perhaps more obscure, that canoel is the seat of the hero in the medieval epic Tristan Iseult, which is a notable tale popular in the 12th century. Who knows or cares.

The fact is that andrea is not an oilman by any stretch of the imagination. His forays into textiles were good and bad by all accounts.

Handing over to mike was one of his better decisions as he was out of his depth.
Getting to grips with oil sector communications and expectations of shareholders is next on his agenda, as his previous experience in countries such as Vietnam clearly show that comms wasn't high on the agenda and probably not much of it was done.

This needs strong leadership and AC has no oil drilling experience. The former has shown here clearly. As nice as AC may come across, I'm not here to be friendly, I'm here to make money. AC is failing to impress the market of the potential here.He may need more time, but the share price only has so much to fall before it is in a mess.We don't even know who the top 5 shareholder are here, bonkers!

I agree, it was high time for him to step aside. Credit where it's due, good of him to put real experience in place. He needs to do the same with respect to comms. One of the most important responsibilities of a director, it is do everything they can to achieve any NAV and close any value gaps. That drive does not seem to be working here, oil production has increased, assets are starting to show some potential but we are worse off than where we started. A new approach to PR/Comms is needed.

I guess, Andrea will be needed to maintain relationships with Azeri's. But that can be more of an advisory/consultancy type arrangement in the future.

which is why mike palmer was taken on by andrea as coo and we have other new hires, that mike has been behind. Perhaps you will give andrea credit for the acknowledgement of his mistake and the fact that his solution was to seek out mike, who is slowly correcting the earlier operational mistakes and expectations.

the plan has been outlined, andrea will not be going anywhere. If you do not believe in the plan as outlined then sell up and move on. It is pointless holding a stock, if you have no faith in those responsible for delivering on the objectives.

Cattaneo should resign..he's being a disaster for the share price .along with the general performance of the bod..with missed timeframes..delays..orders for equipment being 'lost in the post', and having to reorder weeks later...'supposedly'...

a couple of bored sellers, combined with little buying interest. Not surprising that the share price ticked down. Nothing has changed on the ground that we know of.

I agree with that. I have seen uproar at companies before, when management have tried to extend hours of operation. Union involvement, demands for extra pay, tears from some who state they cannot alter their personal arrangements and just a general disgust at being expected to work different hours to the ones they have been used to, especially if the changes do not affect management working hours!!

I do not doubt that it is not popular with some dealers, especially having to work on public holidays, however, that is normal procedure for those that work in transport/retail/healthcare and defence, to name but a few.
