I used to be a fence erector and it entailed digging holes to plant the post, I am now looking for a change in career path...I have sent my cv to Zenith on the off chance they need experienced diggers/drillers, i'm quite confident that my previous employment as a fence erector can be interchangeable with drilling oil wells, and feel that the pay rate which included a bonus for finishing a job in an efficient and timely manner would be of benefit to the company in achieving their internal target of 1000 bopd by March 2018..

The world will eventually move on from oil and the oil age will be over, after all, the stone age ended and it wasn't because we ran out of stones.

Jumping up and down and ranting on this BB, isn't going to make the zenith teams work faster and to your timetable, so I wouldn't bother if I were you.

Yes at this rate we will still talking about the sidetrack at well M-195 while the world has moved on to a superior renewable energy source, and oil has become obsolete..

They have not employed the likes of schlumberger to do this job at great expense.

For teams to work 24/7 then they must have three shifts on each team, working 12 hours a day.

One shift works the day, one the night and one off. I cannot see them being expected to work 12 hours a day, for days on end without a decent break of at least one full day. Perhaps they work two 12 hour days, two 12 hour nights then two days off. I do not know the rota pattern.

I wouldn't think there is more than three of four per shift, with around 12 per team.

These are complicated operations and they are taking their time and working to their timetable and not yours.

Would you rather they rush it, make errors and render the whole borehole useless.

Your posts seem obsessed with historical things that bear no relevance on the projects today. What is your views on the prospects for m195 and m45, what is your views on the subsequent workover program.

Harping on about the past isn't relevant to the business of today. It simply gives a picture of what they did before.

How relevant is years old history to the workings on the Azeri fields today?

The workovers either deliver or they do not - what do you think 11smith? Do you think they will fail?

It either sinks or swims on what happens with the Azeri assets. As sea7 says, the past is reference only.

certainly is ravin, now that the risky, window cutting part is over on 195, we can move to actual drilling of the new hole, then case, cement and then drill open hole section. This is likely to take all of this week at least.

Whilst there were no market sensitive news bulletins, the quarterly updates provide the detail required by the market. I would rather they issue quarterly updates than, simply pepper the market with news reports like confetti.

Sea7, you haven't read all of the history of Zenith? I suggest you haven't read any of it. What do you think of the arrangement with JV partner, CYGAM Energy Inc? Also, what do you think of the accounting arrangements surrounding that JV?

The MD+A is the mandatory management quarterly bulletin required if you list in Canada.

So you should extract those from the list, and look at what's left.

The material change reports should also be ignored, these are where they paid bills with shares.

Plenty of entries on SEDAR during that period as you rightly say, but nothing of any real substance, IMO, and nothing to excite investors during the period.

Opening a representative office in Libya is hardly substantive news, neither the resignation of the CFO

They issued loads of material change reports though..........

Now they will pick up drilling operations and drill the actual sidetrack down to about 80m, then put the new casing in, followed by drilling a smaller diameter hole for the last 20m and leave as open hole. Probably take most of next week to complete.

Does anyone have any theories on why there is a long absence of news published on TSX.V between mid 2009 and September 2012? It all looks very questionable, why the news silence? This could be a contributing factor in the low valuation along with the woeful failings in production. Notice that the only hope at present for Zenith if Azerbaijan fails is Italy. This is despite all the other ventures over the years. I wonder if Zenith Energy is about to fail once and for all?
