24/9/2019 08:17 | Morning Mr Elf, that is probably not true. News will show when everything is agreed. There must be an awful lot of contracts to sign and paperwork to sort out. It will happen soon now. | gismo
24/9/2019 08:05 | By issuing no response at all to the railway news, are Zioc are effectively saying they have nothing to do with this and it has no bearing whatsoever on the company's plans?? Is that true Andrew Trahar?? Really?? | greenelf
24/9/2019 08:00 | Under a rock ? lol | greenelf
23/9/2019 18:36 | Blimey GTA5 Where have you been hiding? | sooty snipes
23/9/2019 18:23 | Hi Extrader, thanks for the excellent posts. I'm pleased to see that the rail-line is being touted for upgrade and expansion! Despite the shortfalls in the ROC gov's coffers, I think this is the most positive bit of news I've heard in a while. I also notice that there's been zilch news on that "easy pilot project" and it's required 1M USD road upgrade......(It was supposed to be so simple and low cost that it reminded me Brexit almost!) I remain invested for the long term and eagerly awaiting the moment when actual money is put on the table, we've already had years of worthless MOU's and meetings about studies about engineering. More patience required by the looks of it. GL, GTA. | gta5
23/9/2019 16:19 | Hi greenelf, But where's the fun/money in that, when there'd be more to be had our way ? | extrader
23/9/2019 15:17 | Yes, it all makes sense, unless the President's pal gets a railway line just for Sapro :) | greenelf
23/9/2019 15:01 | Hi all, Sapro Mayoko is targeting 12 mtpa, Zanaga is targeting 30mtpa. You would imagine that whoever's planning the railway would want to maximise throughput, (a) for economies of scale and (b) to reduce dependency on a single customer... And remember that the 'mineral port' at SEZ PN is supposed to be specced for 45mtpa. It would all appear to make perfect sense...….as people have been saying for years... Onwards and upwards ! ATB | extrader
23/9/2019 11:35 | Not even a Zioc officialTwitter acknowledgement of the railway development..what is going on here? Big announcement soon, hence news blackout? | greenelf
23/9/2019 11:09 | The silence is deafening!! | greenelf
23/9/2019 11:02 | Still no news absolute ZilchSoul destroying at times holding this stock | catchingmice
20/9/2019 15:44 | Hi all, The bit that makes the rail news interesting for me is : …"from the ore port of Pointe-Noire to Sangha department (north), including the localities of Mayoko and Zanaga (south)…" Firstly, because that sounds awfully at one end like the mineral port in the earlier/endlessly ramped (correction : discussed) SEZ contract; and at the other ends (Mayoko first, then a loop /extension/spur another 100 miles or so to Zanaga). From a Pan-African / access to Central African Republic perspective, the route should proceed first up to Franceville and then inland....as I understand things from a commercial/strategic CAR is mineral-rich and (currently ) land-locked, the Russians are supposedly v interested. The Great Game, African version, eh ? Maybe the EU " Empire" (copyright : G Verhofstadt) will take over our White Man's Burden :- > ? ATB Postscript : Looking at some maps, we / Zanaga look to be roughly equidistant from Mayoko (C-B/Sapro) and Franceville in Gabon, if/when we start trans-shipment of product. | extrader
20/9/2019 14:04 | Must be a 10,000 piece jigsaw. Just hope they have not lost some pieces with blue sky :) | greenelf
20/9/2019 13:42 | I think there is a lot more to it than that. Like a jigsaw puzzle, one thing relies on the other... I'm sure this will all come good and I don't think it's that far away now somehow, aimo | gismo
20/9/2019 13:23 | Well they have had 8 years to do the port contracts.. | greenelf
20/9/2019 13:15 | I think people were expecting news straight after the meetings. It can take weeks for contracts to be drawn up and signed so I'm not taking my eye off the ball | gismo
20/9/2019 13:07 | Afternoon elf, yes those reward options seem to put a good plus sign on the company, why do that if there isn't something rewarding happening soon. | gismo
20/9/2019 12:25 | I really have no clue what us going to happen in the next few weeks? It could be stupendous or more sitting waiting for nothing?? This situation really vexes me. That management reward options rns is also a real teaser.. implies action soon or is eventually?? | greenelf
20/9/2019 12:20 | Unless, of course, there is a JV or a buyout! | gismo
20/9/2019 12:20 | Shh. (back in this morning, could not the resist price...rail news intriguing...Sapro must need the new port too..surely?...so it is going to happen? Hope I won't regret this..) | greenelf
20/9/2019 11:45 | Not a chance of holding this for a few more years as you would be better off putting it somewhere else and then buying back inThat's how i see this 3 - 4yrs until a decent return maybe ? | catchingmice |
