Makes you wonder if a stake is being built here. Takeover? Perhaps I am being naive

Probably the start of a tie up with shell energy which will lead to a takeover of the company by them ,likely in the next year to 18 months . Particularly if they can progress at a faster rate due to this tie up .

£8.0m would be about 50p a share. Considering they have only paid the shareholders what they have received in interest payments so for! A sum which will also be going up on this increasing cash pile. They do have to realise value for the shareholder and get the stock up so now looks like they are doing so as the only thing that would stifle interest in a Takeover of this company is that the CEO owns over 50%. As said so above it cant stay this low on the forward p/e and cash accumulating in the bank. As well as a large market with plenty of room for profitable sales growth.

GOOD has half mkt cap in cash and is planning to invest in high margin high growth areas. It has also had relatively recent takeover attempts. High margin and high growth is mouth watering for investors. Longer term growth forecasts suggest confidence in growing profitability going forwards. On top of this it also has impressive green credentials. YU looks promising too but I'd give the edge to GOOD. I hope both companies perform strongly in the coming months and years. I hold both.

Interesting article on sky about companies abandoning UK listing or being takeover by oversea predators Tremor the latest company thinking about it.No surprises as all the UK investment market is broken. Dog shit floated as astronomical prices then shorted to death by hedge funds. Then we complain when good companies are bought for peanuts by vulture funds.Mess of our own greed and short term investing strategies
