The other 10000 meter points are smaller suppliers CNG ship for. Will have to go bust if they cannot find another shipper pronto.

Webinar was probably worth a listen to those who don't understand the business model. Totally hedged business as could possibly be and not effected by price cap. The end question regarding acquisitions seem to have you more excited then me Sparky. If they are little then it will be with cash, but don't rule out a bigger player, thus funds from the market or shares I guess. I got the impression he answered the question with an answer he thought investors wanted to hear, albeit he was clear it had to be the right fit. I am happy to plod along for the time being as organic growth is doing absolutely fine.

The way people are talking we are heading globally into the stones ages with no gas or electric, don't make me laugh.Things like this are cyclical every 10 years or so we get a big reset, the weak die and strong survive.Next is global interest rates on the up now that is going to hurt high in debt companies.Oh yeah we have none isn't that lucky.

I understand and that is good YU has done all that I know that what scared me from not buying is the possibility of company providing the hedging ie smart energy how is their balance sheet no one knows what if they go bankrupt

Also just to point out the crisis is Domestic not SME as domestic are price capped SME isn't. So if you SME and hedged what's the issue YU should be rewarded by the market not punished , it goes to sow the irrational nature of the UK

It's about hedging if you hedged no issue, if you didn't your screwed. The non hedgers gambled and lost end of story. The whole point of hedging is risk mitigation YU are back to back hedged until 2023.

To be honest I rather sell and wait for things to settle you never know what is brewing behind the scene in energy sector. Bigger companies Bigger problems just like BP, Japanese backer of smart energy may do the same if Liabilities start piling they may eve pull the plug.Play safe stay out of investing in energy companies

Very scary development BP back supplier of energy is on the verge of collapse this brings into questioning how financially strong is smart energy the supplier behind YU and so many other small companies like YU. Can smart energy survive this crisis..https://news.sky.com/story/amp/bp-backed-energy-supplier-pure-planet-faces-becoming-latest-casualty-of-industry-crisis-12430539

So are we soon to see a stock market sector switch shortly as inflation bites hard in UK ? Short answer yes and what does well in high inflation situations commodities and companies like YU.Why YU you ask ?They are energy relates and simply package up a client energy demands over the period of the contract. So currently any new client wanting to renew will be at the prevailing market spot price and hedged over the term of the contract. How does this benefit YU ? So last year a package for a company cost say 20,000 and YU take 10% margin ie 2000 Now the same package in 2021 May cost 30,000 and YU take the 10% margin ie 3000Therefore we should see. A surge in YU,s turnover going forward as energy prices have not significantly changed but increased many multiples Never been a better time to invest in a safe sector which will have huge impacts to YU during these difficult times
