14/8/2021 20:15 | Half year report could well be just 4 weeks away now of which we should get an update on Q3 July / August bookings and a heads up on contracted revenue for FY 2022 as of 31 August 2021 (last year was 71.7m at that point, this year 100m+?) either way expecting some fireworks and S P Angel updating their valuation above £6.50 Last year the half year report was released on the 30/09 covid delay? Previous years were 18/09 19/09 19/09 and 20/09 Interesting times ahead. | iamhappy1
13/8/2021 12:46 | Lol, desperate post that one. You know the history. If you going to post stuff like that from 4 years ago that is pretty sad. Are you implying this is happening now ? If so I would be very careful what you write if accusing the company of cooking the books. | sparky333
13/8/2021 12:19 | Have they made any accounting errors in the past ? | ammu12
12/8/2021 21:53 | Good Energy has rejected the tabled offer for their company currently valued at 55mill. Looks like i'm missing something when comparing YU with them. Umm | cocker
12/8/2021 21:03 | Yep been a lot of them. I feel news is very close | sparky333
12/8/2021 20:43 | It looks like our buyer is still around. Another 7.5K trade just under the ask, so appears as a sell to flush the weak out. This has happened a few times over the last week. Sparky, as you have said previously, it looks like an order is definitely being worked around the 250p level. | markiemark321
12/8/2021 14:33 | 10th August last year they acquired Bristol Energy wouldn't want to bet against another acquisition anytime now.... | divine1
12/8/2021 13:41 | If one Google YU Group jobs, it seems as if more and more posts need filling within. One can only assume that the business is flying and Sept update maybe the catalyst to a major rerate. June was a record month and I think we will find out very soon July might have taken that record away. Only downside for me is possible bad debt in the future but they seemed to have nailed that last time, so maybe a worry without merit, let's hope so. | cocker
12/8/2021 09:35 | The point you're trying to make Sparky is that when we were buying sub a quid, others were fearful and yet the rerating started and we were left tripling our money and of course, once numbers for July hit the table it will begin once again. | cocker
12/8/2021 08:25 | 'Britain IS bouncing back': Rishi Sunak hails new figures which show UK economy has fastest growth rate in the ENTIRE G7 as reopening of hospitality industries drives 4.8 per cent rise in GDP | sparky333
10/8/2021 17:15 | Ageed Sparky Drip drip And more drip drop days to come | ammu12
10/8/2021 13:00 | Drip drip continues under low volume. | sparky333
10/8/2021 08:54 | That's why YU have particular eyes on certain companies. YU have excellent risk management and will/would have done due diligence way before pouncing. | sparky333
10/8/2021 08:44 | Sparky, strategy seems to be working well and NO point taking on a distressed companies book if customers are of a high debt risk. As far as I am concerned YU are doing pretty well as they are. | cocker
10/8/2021 07:36 | Just thinking 9000 new SMEs could take YU to around 30,000And a stab in the dark guess at around 200m in turnover which would greatly increase the Critical mass and big profits I suppose it how the client type and spread fit in YUs risk model and where this lot on of the 12 on YUs radar | sparky333
09/8/2021 21:33 | Could be some news this week | sparky333
09/8/2021 21:32 | Hub Energy has become the third retailer of 2021 to cease trading, Ofgem has announced this morning (9 August). The Lancashire-based supplier had about 15,000 customers in total, including 9,000 non-domestic and around 6,000 domestic customers.Hmm 9000 non domestic now that would be a nice bolt on | sparky333
06/8/2021 14:13 | Lol somehow I doubt that | sparky333
06/8/2021 14:07 | A big sell? | ammu12
06/8/2021 12:57 | Another bucket full picked up at mid price.Looks to me something is being worked at 250p level | sparky333
06/8/2021 08:13 | And below is why YU are in critical mass growth phase. The overheads and infrastructure is fixed at X everything above this is a billy bonus Ie a £10m increase in turnover doesn't reflect a 10% increase in overheads So an big increase in commodity costs increases turnover and therefore reflects on YUs bottom line in a positive way.I am estimating turnover of £130 to £140m for 2021, I am now thinking this maybe conservative. | sparky333 |
