They should be checking the Directors for any dodgy loans tucked in their briefcases. They could do with checking the Directors phones & email accounts, cause they never return any calls or post back to me.
I'd love to go tomorrow, but I've work to do & it would be wasted 4 hours out of my day to witness a fait accomplai. Must admit a custard pie on Mealey's chops would be corking, or a John Prescott scuffle afterwards would do.
Enjoy the day you poor suffering souls.

bus ticket would be worth more than the value of my holdings.
Didn't realize YSP was a bank. Wish I could take out a loan and never pay it back.

I think the directors hold most of the shares so PI votes will be worthless.

So! Will you vote to approve the loans in retrospect? and therefore avoid further suspension or are there those with sufficient principal to say no, force repayment by the directors and install new directors. There is far more going on here than one could imagine, imo. It would seem that this company was run for the benefit of directors and not shareholders but as always ranks will close and the shareholder will be shafted! I have a very small holding here and will be voting against.

I'd of thought any poster/holder would be going to the meeting if only to critisize the deficiencies of the management & contempt for their shareholder base.

If they issue shares and they get sold then at least someone would be showing confidence in the co. especially if the Directors buy into them as well. Don't forget at the moment we have nothing not worth the paper the shares are written on , we have supported them this long we might as well carry on doing so.If any body is going to the meeting try to put over that we need to know more about the company,s trading position perhaps on a by-monthly or at least once every 3 months and news items need to be far more forth coming. Someone is obviously refusing to sign off the accounts untill sect 197 of the companies act is complied with. As shareholders you are being given the option to grant the loans retrospectively or remain in suspension, of course they intend to repay the loans this year, lol, lol. With interest? Another AIM classic.

No it was never posted as a news item and nobody new about them. I STILL THINK THERE WAS SOME funny stuff going on that the shareholder should have known about,2 years later we learn about the loans and now they want our approval for them. The account were supposed to be ready on the 31 st Dec now its the 15th of March, how much time do these guys want.!!!JIM

Your Space plc ("Your Space" or "the Company")

Notice of General Meeting

Your Space announces that a general meeting of the Company will be held at 7 Water Street, Liverpool, L2 ORD at 10.00 am on 26 February 2010 in order for shareholders to consider and, if thought fit, approve certain resolutions included in a notice of general meeting which will be posted to shareholders today.

Following the Company's recent creditors' voluntary arrangement, which was approved by shareholders and creditors on 16 November 2009, the suspension of trading of the Company's shares on AIM remains, pending publication of Your Space's financial statements and the clarification of the Company's financial position. It is the directors' intention to release the accounts for the year ended 31 March 2009 and interims to 30 September 2009 simultaneously by no later than 15 March 2010, and a full trading update will be given at this time. A resolution described further in the notice of general meeting gives the Company the flexibility to raise additional equity funds via a placing of new shares subject to market conditions at that time, should the resolutions be approved by shareholders.

In accordance with section 197 of the Companies Act 2006, shareholders are required and are being asked to approve loans which were made by the Company to each of Laurence Davis and Stephen Turton in January 2008 of £65,000 and £40,000 respectively both of whom were Directors of the Company at that time and remain so. These loans were made in order to enable Messrs Davis and Turton to exercise options over ordinary shares in Your Space and settle taxation liabilities. Details of these loans are included in the notice of general meeting. These loans are intended to be repaid in full during the coming 12 months.

In accordance with Rule 20 of the AIM Rules for Companies, a copy of the notice of general meeting has been made available on the Company's website; www.yourspaceplc.com.

FROM THE WEBSITE...................Avery Knight Solicitors make the move to Willenhall
Tuesday, February 02, 2010

A Birmingham solicitors firm has bucked the recent trend of credit crunch-stricken companies falling by the wayside with its rapid expansion - most noticeably it's new base at West Midlands House in Willenhall.

The company has expanded in more ways than one. Initially, just two partners concentrated on Property/Land law but have since enjoyed great success since they expanded into Personal Injury, Family Law, Immigration Wills & Probate and Landlord & Tenant. Their staff have also grown to 9 and they now have - 2 in Birmingham and now their Head Office is based at West Midlands House.

"We survived the credit crunch and expanded further when the market climate deteriorated in 2008/2009." said Partner Bob Klair, "We continued to expand the business - a key strategic decision was to move to West Midlands House due to its location in the heart of the Midlands and its professional appearance and atmosphere."

"Since the move to West Midlands House we have noticed an increase in public awareness and feel we now portray a more professional image" says Bob.

The firm succeeded the economic downturn due to their good working relations with their introducers, clients and local businesses but their level of service and commitment to client needs is what sets them apart.

Avery Knights' expansion in to West Midlands House was made easy due to the size and quality of the space and the business support solutions on offer. The move to the former Willenhall lock factory has made life easier for staff due to its location, public transport and on site facilities such as the large car park and Café Roma.
