Circumstances giving rise to the notifications

In 2015, Stephen Goodyear (Chairman), Patrick Dardis (Chief Executive) and Steven Robinson (Chief Financial Officer) were each granted an option over 888 A Ordinary shares of 12.5p each in the Company's capital pursuant to the Young & Co.'s Brewery, P.L.C. Savings-Related Share Option Scheme. The option exercise price is GBP10.13 per share.

The options first became exercisable today and have been exercised in full. Before the end of September, the Company will arrange for the issue of shares needed to satisfy the exercise of these options.
