JS It`s good that you have provided choice but for the moment I`m happy to use the filter in the hope that he will tire of posting his opinions if no one comments or acknowledges him.

I don`t like no platforming and filtering is a half way house even though I have to admit that it effectively is just another version of that.

Fully understand the process of moderating a thread. I hope you enjoy being there and at some point I may feel that the balance of advantage may make me follow.

People aren`t there though if you filter them and people only have power over your thoughts if you give it to them.There are political regimes where that may be disputed but for now and here the poster driving you mad doesn`t exist for me.

Sorry, you are wrong Arcadian and as a "blue" you should realise that a thread set up by a "blue" can ban disruptive posters.
Disruptive posters can ruin a thread even if you have them on filter. A really nasty individual called "Tazerface" has ruined a KIST thread and he won't go away. I've had him on filter for ages, but he posts non stop. The other KIST thread is OK because it was started by a "blue" and he can ban disruptive posters, like Tazerface.

Placing Alert obviously doesn't understand how mining explorers work and how investors view them. Obsessive repetitive posts reinforces proof of his immaturity and point to a personality defect. Intelligent early stage mining investors would welcome a placing if necessary to extend the drilling programme to better understand Ascot and Footrot and so maximise XTR's vlue on any sale. And ADVFN can be asked to ban inadequates whose only argument is to flood boards with repeat posts.
