Senior Management Appointment

Simon Youd appointed as Group Head of M&A and Integration

The board of Xpediator, (AIM: XPD), a leading provider of freight management services across the UK and Europe, is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Youd as Group Head of M&A and Integration and to the Group's operational board.

Prior to joining Xpediator, Simon was a director of Woodland Group Limited ("Woodland"), the international logistic, freight forwarding and supply chain specialist. Following qualification as a chartered accountant, Simon worked as a corporate financier for Deloitte and then for Grant Thornton before entering the logistics industry by joining Woodland in 2009 as CFO. Since 2016, Simon has been responsible for sourcing, accessing and developing acquisition opportunities for Woodland alongside responsibilities for business development, contract negotiation and managing an internationally spread finance department.
