Further to that post above, we saw it was an iffy statement and we know this company has form in disappointing, so there are no guarantees that another setback won't follow.

However, we have also seen how bullish the market has been in giving all types of companies (including complete garbage) an enormous bid and buying pressure that has resulted in monstrous moves.

That has been reflected in large buying yesterday with three trades totaling 5m. It's highly probable that the buyers have bought from Axxion. Now we wait for an RNS to confirm their new position and how many they have left from the 13.18m last disclosed as at 11th January

IF it is indeed just them who are casting a shadow on the price here then there could be a pop here at some point. Naturally, it is more wider market dependent now too. IF the US craters to a large correction the set up will have gone, but if it holds steady, then this could be an interesting short term play. A trade is a trade!

Still to be convinced by the long term here. Perhaps they will get it all together and stop disappointing investors? I guess time will tell.

All imo

House broker view (so adjust for some level of optimism bias):
If XLMedia was conservatively cash flow neutral in H2 post rationalisation costs then net cash on the group's balance sheet could be around $16m post December's acquisition. This equates to c6p per share, or 17% of the current share price. The Group was solidly profitable in 2020 in its worst year as a public company. Trading on 6.9x EV/adj EBITDA last year, the stock is on track to recover.

JamesSmith, if you take the 1H report, 24m of current liabilities are covered by 36m of current assets of which 28m are cash and equivalent. They have no bank debt.
They spent 12m for the US acquisition and they probably have generated some cash from operations. They have probably incurred some exceptional costs.
They have very low Capex.
All in all, a net cash balance of about 8-10m at end of year makes sense to me, but this number could actually be too low.

yes it wasn’t a very full update. Really surprised they didnt mention the US acquisition and provide an update on that !

Dont forget its personal finance element will also be doing well at the moment as people are at home a lot nd shopping around for new savings, cards, mortgages etc

We are clearly well placed for New York gaming and gambling. Elite Sports NY is the most read NY independent digital sports destination according to the website! An update would have been good. Maybe they are trying to keep the price down a little. Maybe we will see some more Director purchases

Not a brilliant update for sure.
HOWEVER:
MC (fully diluted) is now 64m, which is $88m.
Taking out at least 8m of net cash (should be more, but let us be conservative) will take you to an enterprise value of 80m.
Trades at 7 times 2020 Ebitda.
Assuming a very modest recovery in 2021 (let's say from 11.5 to 13) + at least 2m from the US acquisition = 15m 2021 Ebitda.
Trades at 5X 2021 estimated Ebitda.

It looks very cheap to me.
As online gaming and gambling is one of the hot spots of the international economy, it would take a huge effort to... fail here.

I believe the reason for share price weakness is mainly due to Shareholder Value Management/Axxion reducing their stake.

you are correct farmergeorge in the example you give regarding john's response to shuan. I will also just not engage him any more.

Sociopaths hate nothing more than being ignored. His baiting will be extreme but I will relish the death throes.

I've filtered John and yet there's no escaping him, as others keep replying to his outpourings. This spoils it for those who have filtered him. Get a grip and just hit the filter button, goodness, what's the problem?

You havent posted any facts. Just opinion . “Very average” is an opinion not facts

Past data irrelevant. They’ve prioritised them going forwards

I wont be giving out my email address but thanks . I’m sure all here would like to see facts no need to share offline

John09- I am posting facts, if you would like more send me private message with your email and I will send you the last 2 years traffic stats from those three sites and you will see that they are very average domains.

Trust me i want this to hit 65p plus more than anybody else on this thread but after years of just garbage updates i was hoping that Stuart would be delivering good news.

Shaun. Awaiting your analysis from Semrush on the reinstated sites . No point looking at 2020 they were de-ranked.
