07/1/2020 14:08 | i sold this one - I'm just too nervous to hold it - not even as a speculative trade! I don't really like (much) the ones they portray as flagship websites and I don't know the rest of them so I got out. | harry3021

04/1/2020 10:48 | That is right tvh123. I would also think that most of the time Ory reinvested the dividends by buying back more shares. That shows he does not think of them as income to spend. | km85
04/1/2020 09:13 | The notion that the former CEO is purchasing shares to "average down" is wide of the mark. Approx 2.5m of Ory's current direct interest has been built through the exercise of options since XLmedia listed at an average of 27p (strike prices have been at 49p and 15cents). Approx 2m has been purchased on the open market at an average of £1.23 (prices have ranged from £1.04 to £1.88), and approx 2.5m has been purchased over the last 6 months or so at an average of 53p. His current average price is around 64p. He also held an indirect interest via Webpals Enterprises Partnership Limited (WEPL sold their entire stake at £1.10 a couple of years ago). The proceeds from that transaction would have more than offset all purchases above £1. Therefore, I can only conclude the buys over the past 6 months are less to do with "averaging down" and more to do with the fact that the market price fairly values the current state of the business (including a reduced dividend in line with reduced profits) with potential for renewed growth over the medium term. | tvh123
03/1/2020 08:53 | Yes, i also wonder how you survive on the dole shaun now you are fired from XLM :) | middlesboroughfc
03/1/2020 08:43 | Fozzle - I have no idea what his investment strategy is but I am guessing he is like others is jus trying t get his average price down. What would be interesting to see is what will if and when XL cancel the dividend, as Ory would have no income from this holding, wold he start selling at the right price...... | oneillshaun
02/1/2020 14:50 | oneillshaun - Why does Ory keep buying shares here? It's a serious question. He already has stacks of the things. His judgement thus far hasn't been that great but i have to think that he is buying to make a profit. | fozzie
02/1/2020 14:11 | Show us the Money Ory | albanyvillas
