Malcolmmm - i am with you on the 300p point, but i thought we would see that this year but i strongly doubt it, i think as it stands we will not get passed 250p in 2018.

I first bought XLM in 2014 for 56p and they do seem to drop after excellent results. I expect to still be holding and collecting the dividends when they pass £3

Just look at the overall trend in the graph. Over £2 is inevitable as long as noone does anything silly.

Market reaction was predictable - in fact predicted (post 7157). Reactions tomorrow should be more insightful, once the horse-trading is out of the way and analysts have digested the figures. All looks good to me, with the cash position higher as per simso's post. Yes, no real forward guidance - but most forward guidance is for the birds. Could do with broker upgrades though, since investors do look at those and do react accordingly.

Totally agree with averaging up and I have £3 as a target but we need significant grown to achieve that.

If you enter at a sound level then there is no knife to catch. A small parcel now then wait if it falls, if it climbs average on the way up to £2.20 then enjoy the climb to £3 and above

Looking forward to the presentation later today down at Berenberg HQ. Judging by these latest 3 'smaller' acquisitions for $5 mil it seems the focus is still very much on expansion into financial services which the market should warm to. I think another sizeable acquisition in this field would go down a treat. Now the 2017 results are out the way are we about to see the strategy for 2018 come into sharp focus?...

Acamas - It's called catching a falling knife..... Disappointed with the reaction but to be expected as history tells us. Like the numbers but some profit taking was inevitable.

At GBP423M MCAP and PBT at USD39M we were getting close to fair value taking into account the foreign company discount.

The only concerning point for me was there was no guidance on 2018 performance to date.

Fairly typical of this stock. Attracts the traders a few days before results and then they sell on news. Actually a sign of a stock that always delivers otherwise they would be taking a bigger risk.

Agree its a strong hold.
Added 2500 shares this morning.

Buster. It's never been the right one with this stock. Much more to begained by holding rather than taking a small profit and gambling it on the next stock.Buffett never made his billions by doing that.

don't see the point pinching small percentage gains, sooner or later they will come unstuck. its like backing 1/10 shots in the bookies, sooner or later you get caught with your pants down.
