18/1/2021 08:13 | Looks ready to tank wont surprise if MMs swiftly smash it under 120p, wont get a signal just a quick painful dive. How this moves. | thomasearnshaw
18/1/2021 07:13 | Blimey what hysteria from ThomasEarnshaw. Calm down. The update was in line with what was expected. Turnover didn't shrink in the year of a pandemic that's remarkable. Just imagine how good things will be when pent up demand resumes especially with all the new products. Still the possibility of a takeover also. | amt
17/1/2021 23:09 | 3.15pm: Xaar tumbles as it reveals flat revenues Big losses Cash burn- lost huge amount £50.2m in first half Nasty They don’t say return to profit in medium term, no more You can of course hold on for a few more years of losses, depending on you investmant approach. Flat sales Plus now 4m quid now gone missing huh Freaking awful Profit warnings come in 3s No wonder it’s crashing 😢 | thomasearnshaw
17/1/2021 23:02 | yawn... zzz | melody9999
17/1/2021 19:09 | MMs will widen the spread trigger stops which will panic people to sell in the downward spiral, a few will get caught with the DCB rally before another downward trajectory commences. Several days of this. It may settle for a while then will blast down when the profit warning comes out following the results. | leewain
17/1/2021 18:28 | Techically speaking this should be trading around the 50p mark. So a long way to go yet. The big tumble will come when the results are released. We will see a move down to 50p. | leewain
17/1/2021 18:17 | So no progress with a different management team. Same problems with cash burn. The change in management got too many investors excited and is still way "overvalued" should be and will go under £1 after the short bounce. Get out now as there are profit warnings coming. Management are far too optimistic and are misleading investors with the hollow statements. Utter spin. | leewain
17/1/2021 06:12 | Gap to 80p to be filled on chart and “continued covid delays” in statement will mean it goes there , imho 😢 | thomasearnshaw

16/1/2021 23:11 | My retirement fund - filtered. No need for your language. You can take a counter view without your sort of posts. Don't understand how ADVFN allow that. Disgusting really. | 2breakout
16/1/2021 23:00 | I should imagine CR would have been skimming the cream of his mill plus holding from xmas onwards and will be expecting delivery of his newest motability Aston as we speak ? | my retirement fund
16/1/2021 22:46 | Problem is suckers bought the dip Won’t easily climb up with them waiting to offload Cr also waiting to offload 1.5m as 2b suggests Covid also found in China ice cream. Is it near the xaar plant? Could Impact the clean rooms MMS know some have stops under 120 and will hint them out Looks fuct Moneymentally fuct | thomasearnshaw
16/1/2021 22:24 | Lauders is that schroders, they already own nearly 30% so can't buy anymore? Without a good update this will be sold on any bounce. CR will have at least 1 million shares in this maybe more. You can be charged a premium buying or selling 10k here at times. Plus his slack followers will maybe sell as well. How many members does he have now? Also ask what goes on in all the private conversations there. When I was on it thought it was an open board but loads of private little chats on there. And he's on Twitter. Lots of froth came off quite a few shares last week. So maybe this was just another one. Does Simon Thompson ever say sell or reduce on any share? Good luck with it anyway. Just offering a counter argument. | 2breakout
16/1/2021 21:59 | I'm looking for the rebound | abbotslynn
16/1/2021 21:54 | While CR may have some impact 2breakout I very much doubt it is "THAT" significant. Now this chap may be a different story: (see from 7.15 minutes/seconds in). He via his company have had to release a holdings RNS while I don't think that is the case with CR? Please correct me if I am mistaken. The investment case for XAR is covered nicely in the video above and the one you reference from CR. I see that Simon Thompson also highlighted them when they were MUCH lower and they reached (exceeded) his target. He no doubt has a larger following than CR given his position and job, but I am unsure what his stance is on the company now and what his followers are currently doing in respect of XAR. | lauders
16/1/2021 21:32 | Had a good look at these. Can't really see why this moved above £1 looking at the chart and newsflow, except continued private investor buying ( which usually means they've followed a good update or a tip) Can't find a good update so must have been CR pi world interview? In that time some fund managers have even reduced. High volume for a 2nd day and another fall. Any bounce now and larger holders will be reducing their position imo. If CR is involved he will have a substantial amount to sell if he hasn't sold already these last 2 days. If someone could explain why this should be worth more go ahead. I can't see it. Fair value must £1 imo. Interesting to see how it plays out. | 2breakout
16/1/2021 21:17 | Also worth sharing: “We are one year into delivering our strategy and it is clearly having a positive impact, notably as existing customers continue to engage, and we are winning new business. “We remain excited by the future and will remain disciplined in delivering long-term sustainable growth.” In the update Xaar said its printhead business continued “to perform well with continued success in winning new customers”. It is in the process of rolling out its new ImagineX platform and cited “clear growth opportunities ahead”. Doesn't look too bad to me but then again WT!DIK? | lauders
16/1/2021 20:22 | How can they say they are breakeven and then also have lost 4 million squid | onjohn
16/1/2021 18:58 | unexplained how £4m has gone missing not so - the 2020 HY report states this: "Gross R&D spend of £4.0m, up £1.3m on the H1 2019 and £1.0m on H2 2019, as investment is focused on the new Bulk Printhead roadmap and Xaar 3D" This will have continued - XAR are investing as part of their strategic plan to generate profitable new business Patent worries No I don't think so. You would not invest in R+D if there were any concerns - provide the detail please. I'm calling out these claims mabe by posters(who are short) and invite them to substantiate their claims - put up or shut up. Other posters should await reponse and if all we get is a continuation of the the same unsubstantiated claims and share price predictions, ignore and filter. | melody9999
16/1/2021 15:34 | Monday morning is probably the best time to close short positions. Small bounce expected which may present another opportunity. | leewain
16/1/2021 14:58 | uneplained how £4m has gone missing last time i saw that was langbar, only worse | thomasearnshaw |
