Gone up too quickly for your liking!
Yes I find it really disappointing when that happens ; much rather see a share plunge after I buy them. Really enjoy watching a share price soar after I have sold them too....

Good value according to SimplyWall.St. Bought a week ago at 340p, so pleased to see such a quick positive reaction. But a little too quick for my liking. Hoping to hang on to these for at least 2 years.

It is certainly nice to see the share price move north a bit, and encouraging to see WYN showing blue today when most of the rest of my portfolio is red. It would be reassuring if the share price manages to reach and hold 400, perhaps 450 in the course of time. Doubling seems a bit of a stretch until the headwinds for the business cease.

It is rather disconcerting the way the share price has continued to fall. Fortunately, I sold out at 621 (when it did seem seriously overbought) but then bought back a third much too early at 535. Today my limit order to buy back another third triggered at 332. Is that also going to prove too early? I have no idea. I first bought in about 2020, at 269 (which I then thought an oversold price), and the business OUGHT now to be considerably stronger than it was then.At present either it is cheap, or cheap for a reason. Not sure whether I am keen to buy back the final third of my holding or not!!

All this wet weather is bad news for farmers, hence share price drop.

I am looking closely at WYN as well. i have a limit order in a few pence below the current price. I sold out at 621 a while back (got that one right anyway, though luck rather than judgment), bought back a third (too early) at 535, and ever since have been looking to make a further re-purchase and wondering how low it can go! My original purchase only a couple of years ago wss at 269 !! It has been a crazy roller coaster for a supposedly 'boring' stock.

Carrs is heavily down too, but WYN looks the stronger business to me.

Agree 1TX.Best to regard the company as an income and growth stock in a diversified portfolio; they have a consistent record of dividend growth as you say. I see share price fair value equating to a Dividend yield in the range 3.5% to 4% (current year) but cyclical like the sector so 500p top and presently decent value at 380.

WYN is the only listed pure agricultural supply feedstuff, fertiliser & seed merchant.CARR now only has animal husbandry products alongside its engineering business and only about a third of NWF is now agriculture based. It is totally dependant on the immediate prospects, particularly weather conditions in UK farming.See the explanation in accounts as to why demand and hence profits are down.
Conversely last year it made massive one off profits from the huge increase in fertiliser prices.
I have been a shareholder in WYN since it listed around 20 years ago;it was previously largely customer owned, historically it was a farmers coop & still has a large farmer ownership but over the last two decades the business has grown hugely in size, net assets and quality and has increased its dividend each year. You have to remember if you are a shareholder that in farming there can be events from time to time that can have a huge impact on profits up or down that are outside its control.
