01/4/2016 10:42 | Video interview with Paul Hamer Project management and technical consultancy group WYG PLC (LON:WYG) says it did well during the second half of its financial year and expects full-year results to match market expectations. Paul Hamer, chief executive, tells Proactive that the key is “continued momentum” with business in the UK growing by more than 10%, while in Europe, he says the company is winning “a huge amount of new work”. He adds that the firm’s record order book “provides a very solid long term platform for the future”, and that the company is now looking to expand its international footprint in the next six to twelve months. | proactivest

04/3/2016 20:38 | good contract win in Poland today with possible hints of future wins in the same country | mfhmfh

17/12/2015 13:55 | good news today. onwards and upwards from here I hope | mfhmfh
17/12/2015 10:57 | Some decent news this morning re pension liabilities and share price ticking up again. | cfro
04/12/2015 21:17 | agree cfro. I'm happy to hold/add with a PBT of £15m by 2018 | mfhmfh
03/12/2015 07:47 | I'm very pleased with these results.Steady progress is being made. The delay in the EU funding cycle has now been resolved and contracts are starting to be won. The company is also actively seeking acquisitions. I particularly like their PBT target of £15m by 2018. | cfro
03/12/2015 07:37 | Results look good, Consensus for c£7m of PTP for full year, but this is all complicated by the change to the share option costs and the exceptional credit of £1.3m. To be fair these are all excluded from the adjusted profit. I assume the £7m is before share options and intangibles and this looks attainable. In which case 2016 PER of 14x. Happy to hold on that basis. | 18bt
02/12/2015 22:29 | Hoping for good results tomorrow | mfhmfh
04/11/2015 17:20 | WYG - known them for some time. Picked up a few... | napoleon 14th
04/11/2015 16:06 | Slater investments must be very confident to increase to 13,5%, they could be expecting further contract announcements imo. Infact the company have indicated twice about further contract wins, first in the September trading update and again in the statement that was issued with the October contract win RNS. I did buy some more on today's news. | interceptor2
04/11/2015 15:14 | Now we know who the buyer is - Slater investments now above 13%. They must be pretty keen imo. | cfro
04/11/2015 11:15 | Finally have some upwards movement on modest buying today, there was much heavier buying since the contract win announcement yet the share price seemed to have been held back. CFRO, I think you might be right about there being a stock overhang here, but could have cleared now? | interceptor2
30/10/2015 08:29 | Looks like a very interesting acquisition. I think they have their eye on the forward order book and new potential work flow in that particular region of the UK. Should be a nice strategic fit. | cfro
30/10/2015 08:18 | Nice earnings enhancing acquisition announced this morning. Momentum is building on the news front here, with a recent contract win, Slater Investments increasing holding to 11% and now a materially earning enhancing acquisition. More contract announcements soon imo. | interceptor2
23/10/2015 18:19 | More 25k blocks gone through again today and a 100k. Must be a matched buyer and seller i would imagine. Price not budging - yet! | cfro
21/10/2015 12:42 | Also noted more 25k trades yesterday, someone accumulating here, in fact there has been consistent buying each day since the contract win, yet the the share price has remained very steady. Get the feeling that WYG are under the radar, but once more contracts are announced, which I think will happen soon and could be multiple announcements, I would expect the situation to change. | interceptor2
19/10/2015 22:27 | Noted quite a bit of follow-on buying again today. In particular there looks like there was several blocks of 25k picked up by someone. | cfro
16/10/2015 22:31 | I too bought in here today also. Think there are one or two negative points; one being the fact that the upcoming interims will likely be poor and another perhaps being the fact that they were subject to a bid approach that subsequently failed. However, i do get the distinct impression that management are on a mission with renewed vigour. They did intimate that the order book was improving and that contracts were likely to be forthcoming a while back and they have proved that with todays contract win. Looks like that will be the first of many. Slater Investments buying 11% of the company is also unusual, for them, and thoughts do go through my head as to why they have taken such a large stake. | cfro
16/10/2015 10:17 | Bought in here this morning. Have been watching WYG since Slater Inv increased their holdings here, just waiting for confirmation that the expected contract wins started arriving, which of course duly arrived this morning. They also said today that they expect this contract will be the first of a number of major wins over the next few month's. Which sounds rather confident to me. I can understand why Slater investments hold 11%, with a strong order book growth and a PEG of 0.06 and 0.64, plus Net Cash of £8.8m, WYG could be zulu type stock. | interceptor2
16/10/2015 08:55 | Good to see contract win backing up positive comments from last rns. Hopefully first of many. | battyliveson |
