Yep , nice to get the div, but I guess they have had a strong year and I believe look well placed to cope. This year will see a obvious hit to rental income , but for businesses looking for a new office, a landlord who shares the burden in truly difficult times is attractive and positive for Workspaces reputation. And at the end of the day the properties they own are high quality and still worth far more than today's share price.

A hike in the dividend - that's a real positive. They clearly think they will be very well positioned in the new office world beginning to emerge and it's hard to disagree. It makes a massive difference owning the freeholds and not having people crammed in like WeWork. 2021 will take a hit for 3 months on 50% rents - a lot are going to struggle from 1 July, so it will take careful management of tenants.

Can't believe this is still 700p. Hope their results reassure. Not expecting div to be paid myself. Sure a short term rent hit , but longer term prospects seem compelling.

Final results now 5th June. Per 7th April rns - dividend to be determined with the final results. Also as a reit they have to pay a dividend if they have any profits left! Suet

I just wonder how much unpaid rent is now on the books? And how much is simply deferred or bad debt. Will we get a dividend? Not long to wait as the final results are out on 3rd June. Suet

Bit of a roller coaster atm. Sold a few more yesterday and invested in dtg - a good decision it would appear. Still got a good holding in wkp which I will now hold on to. With peeps going back to work this will get back much of its sparkle. Suet

Suspect demand will quickly return for wkp flexible offering and while valuation may be hit temporarily, London values should prove resilient and bounce back. Sharing the burden short term absolutely correct thing to do. Added yesterday 712p and hoping to see a decent recovery over the next two years.

Another thought - because of social distancing - in the short term companies might need more office space. Suet

More talk in today's Telegraph about less office space being required going forward. This may help wkp - but it may not. Suet

I think that once people go back to work the situation will improve. But some who are wfh may continue to do so and wkp would lose out. A lot of contracts I believe are short term. They must have some bad debt too. Ask me again in 3 months. Suet

Needs to rally 75% to revisit its past high point, have prospects really dimmed to that extent?

Remember in 2009 hearing bankers saying that the city office market was finished for good It is, and always has been a very cyclical marketCovid shows the capabilities and also very much the limits of wfh There will be more wfh - but equally cannot see 70 sf per person office requirements lasting post covid There will also be fit out changes - eg more natural ventilation, less AC and other measures - which is an asset management opportunity for land lords with capital

Interesting (see my previous post) - today Jes Staley, head of barc, has said that big offices "may be a thing of the past". This development could really help wkp going forward. However if more peeps are wfh this won't benefit city pubs and eateries. Suet

50% rent reduction during the lockdown period. But possibly only for 6 weeks and for business centres affected by government restrictions?! Good job this was announced on a market up day. It would have helped if they had put an estimated figure on this - they will know what it is. wkp's customers are small businesses who could be hardest hit by CV. However I expect the share price to recover once the lockdown is over. You never know but if wfh becomes more fashionable then larger companies might require smaller premises and more flexible arrangements. Suet

Ok update. They will get hit, but how much just depends on how long complete lock down lasts, esp in London.
