The quarterly statement looks 'as normal' - a continuation of the steady progress in rental income and occupancy. A gentle rise in share price today but, perhaps too optimistically, I would have expected a bigger rise?

From today's sharecast, tomorrow's interims:In corporate earnings, real estate investment trust Workspace releases its interims. Numis analyst Robert Duncan said the company has had an "active third quarter", with planning consent secured at Hoxton and Stratford, disposals of four industrial properties, and two acquisitions in Wood Green and Surrey Quays."In terms of operations, we allow for 8% rental growth through the second half of 2016; current market conditions remain supportive of this assumption and while there is no direct comp to Workspace, recent rental evidence in Shoreditch from DLN and HLCL suggest upside risk to our numbers."DD

Looks like a shake out to me? Strong numbers and pipeline ahead. Pbt slipped but was due mainly to levels of property and overage valuation uplifts. Webcast was very positive imo. Panmure Lifts Workspace Group Target Price — Market Talk November 11, 2015 By Bloomberg 0938 GMT Panmure Gordon lifts Workspace Group’s target price to 1,074p from 1,010p after the property firm posted an increase in trading profit, dividend and valuation during the half year. Panmure notes competition is growing in the temporary leasing market but the models differ from Workspace in type of offer and target customer. The brokerage continues to expect the group to generate strong growth over the next two years, and maintains a buy recommendation

Results look good as usual - but the share price action seems remarkably low - I expected at least a 50p rise but I was obviously too optomistic.

Interims tomorrow should be good ? hxxp://www.cityam.com/227530/booming-london-office-demand-drives-vacancy-rates-to-15-year-low?ITO=related-content Booming London office demand drives vacancy rates to 15-year low "London office vacancy rates dropped to a 15-year low during the third quarter of the year, new research shows, as increasing competition made space in the capital increasingly difficult to come by. As the economic recovery gathers pace, demand for office space has surged, thanks to businesses feeling more confident about their future prospects".

11.50 maybe a reasonable target, still a shortage of good ready office space around london and the company has some good assests and potential future builds. Nice bit of a rebound in the last few days

FT Shard Sets new record for rents.... http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/a358ff56-481f-11e5-b3b2-1672f710807b.html#axzz3jjdzjN6R Extract: Neil Prime, head of UK office agency at JLL property advisers, said a shortfall in development finance over the past half-decade had seen little new space being built in London. Combined with the city’s growing economy, this supply shortage has produced heated competition for offices. The supply of “the best space” is now “critically low”, Mr Prime said. As a result, “occupiers are beginning to focus on areas of London outside their traditional locations”, he said

From today's FT: http://www.ft.com/fastft?siteedition=uk Derwent profits from office space squeeze 33 minutes ago Shares in UK Tech Belt landlord Derwent London surged 4 per cent at the open this morning as the company reported it has seen surging growth in both rents and the value of its property portfolio, thanks to "strong" demand from corporate occupiers and "voracious" demand from investors. Derwent is one of the most prominent landlords in the eastern fringes of the City where London's tech companies tend to cluster, and it has benefited from the area's transformation from gritty and rundown to a thriving business community, writes Kate Allen. The price of new rents agreed by Derwent has risen by 5.2 per cent in the six months to end-June, while the value of its buildings jumped by 9.1 per cent to £4.6bn...... Despite London's rapidly growing economy it faces a shortage of good-quality office property, as little new construction took place during the extended half-decade-long property market downturn.
