Today's announcement shows how WKP can boost its NAV through smart management. Great planning result and shares breaking out! Salty

Closed at 414.7p... ...on a day the FTSE250 was soaring.

I don't hold here anymore - at over 400.0p i think thst it's to far over Nav and it will take very positive news to progress any further - perhaps the results in November. Also, it's quite exposed to market sentiment and if the market wobbles it may drop back below 400.0p which is the point I would buy back in, but only in a modest way. My 'property money' is in HSTN, PCTN and RDI at the moment. Purple.

Purple, can I ask why you think wkp is expensive? Expected increased profits and revenue, plus growing economy benefits company like this?

We've got to look at the sector, tho, to consider the prospects for WKP. Economic policy adopted by the Tories is starting to work. Business confidence is picking up and their various schemes and incentives which are designed to encourage and support the type of businesses which are, and will become, our customers are starting to make a real impact. local chambers of commerce cite increased business confidence and even the resi market is picking up. As we move towards the next election, the Tories will start to loosen their public spending grip in an attempt to buy votes and all this adds up to great news for WKP and the SMEs that are our tenants. I first bought WKP shares back in 2009 and it's been emotional! But I'm sooooo pleased I kept them, topped up during the rights and have bought more since. I've doubled my money in the process and I'm looking forward to it quadrupling. Salty.

Is interesting this one, is still a relatively cheap stock but the next month and beyond look nasty, think FTSE and DOW are looking at taking a hit, have to say it is slightly worrying now for equities, as FED will look to reduce QE but mixed in with good positive data for recovering economy....

Judging from today's market, I should have kept my mouth shut.

Agreed the next month or so wil probably be a bit messy - Egypt, rumours on the US financial easing, housing bubble noise over here.... However, I think the backgound of gently emerging from recession will (should?) keep the market up. So, as to share prices and especially WKP, I don't have a high opinion on my ability to judge short term movements so I'm expecting to stay invested apart from, perhaps, a bit of money into some financials.

Time to reload or time to take some money off the table, seems like markets are going to have a painful month or so.....thoughts?

Thanks Hutton, will be interesting to see the run in to xmas, am seeing a slower and steadier rise till xmas and then hopefully wkp can capitalize on all the good data coming out the industry.

11023154 Answering your note, I think you are very optomistic on your £15 figure. I'm assuming a steady rise over the next few years as the current economic pointers seem good, I think that, perhaps, the share price has got a little ahead of itself so you may be right on the slight dip?? But there is a good stream of revamped properties on the way and the market for flats should continue for a while, so the the future looks good. Perhaps £10 in 2 years time?

Looks like an share price which could double over next few years, return to days of £15 SP, however short term next few months am struggling to see much growth, is this a fair evaluation? Seeing correlation between WKP and UK and US indicies on downward trend, shall we be expecting a slight dip even on a share that appears cheap still? Ben

Seems a very satisfactory interim statement - occupancy still rising above 90% and a rising rent roll. The reduction in lettings may be due to lack of space available so they should perhaps try to accelerate the new build programme?

IMO - strong results to come....looks like this one should settle down first then can see it going strong until xmas, stock is cheap and it's time to settle into commercial letting for quite a few months....can see it returning to its old days above 600p

two sells of 250,000 shares each, stinks of something fishy.....lets in London seems good business to be in, strong performance against a 1.5% drop in ftse today. Whats not to like, quite cheap still or have I got this completely wrong. I got in at 390 so might just hold for a while on this one.

Closed at 381.0p on a horrid auction... I'm also out... sold my last lot at 409.9 for a small gain. This is looking like a tading stock at the moment. Final results next Tuesday.
