16/5/2011 16:53 | I'll have another go then if that's OK? Closed 29p. Up on a 'red' day! Is 29p the new '24p'?! | catcheemonkee
13/5/2011 17:54 | OK, but I can't do this everyday now... Closed at 28.75p. Results 6th June. | purplebox
12/5/2011 19:03 | I've done my bit. Not doing it two days running. ( ;) ) | catcheemonkee
11/5/2011 21:00 | OK, but it's your turn tonight | brando69
11/5/2011 19:38 | brando69 - 10 May'11 - 16:41 - 7390 of 7390 shall i do the honours purplebox? closed at 29.25p Any time brando - my day job is soaking up all my time at present. Will WKP hold up over NAV until the results next month? | purplebox
10/5/2011 16:41 | shall i do the honours purplebox? closed at 29.25p | brando69
09/5/2011 20:06 | Closed at 29.0p. | purplebox
06/5/2011 16:51 | stayed firm amid the hammerings elsewhere | brando69
04/5/2011 22:50 | brando - I hold none off the above, although I looked up STY up some time ago and will look them up again. One of my biggest mistakes was Senior bought at 0.30 and bailed out with a decent profit, now about 1.50 - ouch a baby. I find it easier to buy in and seem to find difficult to find my selling point. One good pick can give the portfolio a lift. I may have come across you on the UNIQ tread which turned out to be my best pick in 2009, got out sharpish in the end. I did hold a big slice of them. Honiton - like your pick QED and one of the ones i may buy in, others under consideration are SBD,LSP,SVS,VNL,RGI, all trading below NAV when last checked. Had a quick glance at some report today with house prices again in depression mode. kilt. | kiltrock
04/5/2011 21:39 | wise words stocka welcome back purple kiltrock - i am not someone you want to be following... my picks in last three years have been patchy to say the least. nta has been a huge gem for me as it's 7-bagged for me compensating for some awful picks elsewhere. but for what it's worth, wkp is my largest isa holding. i also hold TIG which is doing well for me and seems a safish bet if not spectacular. STY I have a couple of grand's worth and do think it should double from current position. as for blue sky, most of my chips are in SEA. | brando69
04/5/2011 20:53 | Purple good to hear from you! Welcome back!!!! I put some in the order book at 30, 30.25 & 30.5. Didn't really expect to get filled but I did (even though it took a while) so basically top-sliced. WKP Shares left are FREE!! They can sit there for a few years now in the isa. I did always say I would post when I did sell any. Dont get me wrong I still think this has legs long term BUT on advise I am de-risking some of my ISA holdings and taking some profits off the table as I am not keen on the feel I am getting on the market over the coming summer and the last 2 years have been v good to me. I learned long ago how greed is what can make reality & fantasy look so wonderfully blurred when it comes to shares.. | stockadoodle
04/5/2011 20:45 | Looks like property is hot to trot at the moment: BKG, SHB, QED I would only look at London focus though. | honiton
04/5/2011 20:13 | Closed at 29.25p... ...I've just got back from a couple of weeks in Jordan and it seems that WKP is now trading at about a 5% premium to NAV - and even Stocka has sold a few... ...I'm still holding all mine... ...but IMO 50p is still silly. Results 6th June - not long now - I'm forcasting a 0.55p final divi if the 10% increase in the interim is maintained. And the Olympics are only just over a year away now :-). | purplebox
04/5/2011 18:57 | brando ref post7349 I have NTA on one of my watch list and had another quick look, decided to give it a miss. I have others in this sector before it, and still looking for one more before leaving this sector. I do rate WKP a good pick from some time ago and nothing has changed since, perhaps in my view this could get to near 0.40p per share before the year is out and gladly accept my 0.50ish if we should get there-abouts?? I have come across you from some other treads you and I have invested in - what stocks do you hold or have sold in recent times? kilt. | kiltrock
04/5/2011 14:16 | 50p would put it at a premium of around 75% to latest NAV - it would take some major revenue changing news to put us at that level. Being realistic. Not saying WKP won't get there, but don't see it happening short-term just because the chart says there's no resistance between here and there | brando69
03/5/2011 18:34 | Good day today though Brando69! Good buying volume on the share price increases and looking good for breaking the key resistance level of 30p. I know a lot of folk on here disagree with my valuation however you have to admit things are looking good for WKP chartwise! | the jackel
03/5/2011 17:53 | had two goes at breaching 30p today. not sure about 30 to 50 in short order! we're talking about a 340m mcap co here, not a minnow | brando69
03/5/2011 16:13 | SP increase backed up by good buying volume! | the jackel
03/5/2011 14:44 | No this is just the start, break the resistence at 30p and form a new support level at 30p/31p then boom!!!!! A breakout worth about 20p taking us to the 50p mark! | the jackel
03/5/2011 12:57 | i thought this was the breakout? | brando69
03/5/2011 12:24 | Breakout could happen any day now :-) | the jackel
03/5/2011 08:50 | I too have taken some money off the table and top-sliced some of my profit here.. I still not keen on this spike on such low volumes.... anyway as you say can always buy back at a later stage & if not then shares left are free ones now so either way its win win... | stockadoodle
03/5/2011 08:27 | that's still a v good return she can always buy back it's not going to be a one-way ride | brando69
03/5/2011 08:25 | sold @ 29p this am from 19 & 22p | mike24 |
