13/11/2007 08:05 | Seems to be a trade of 6 million showing om Proquote and a tick up CR | cockneyrebel
04/11/2007 13:39 | check out screendaily.com. lots of new news | flat white

02/11/2007 15:17 | up 3 days in a row Swag, that's day after day here! :-) I can't remember the last time this was up 3 days in a row. Must have got an Oscar nomination somewhere. CR | cockneyrebel
02/11/2007 11:47 | i sense a changing tide..... forgive my desire for BLUE, i have 10k sterling in this company, with average price of circa 6p | dramatis
02/11/2007 11:43 | lol - day after day? Ever the salesman CR! Must admit I dipped my toe back into these. Not getting carried away by the hype of a few years back, and on a much smaller scale investment. I feel that they could be a recovery play, but I doubt whether this will get back to the CCN days of 20p+. | swag2
02/11/2007 10:32 | These are on a mission now - rising day after day. Reckon Costa Theo makes a bid for these in full. Crispin raising is stake to 29% says Theo will have to pay a decent premium, above the one year high of 6p. Chart's on the verge of a breakout. CR | cockneyrebel
01/11/2007 21:57 | Yes zedder you may be right - they have some good material don't they? | topvest
01/11/2007 07:53 | bid marked up pre-open CR | cockneyrebel
31/10/2007 08:33 | I think this one could be very big as well: | zedder
31/10/2007 08:32 | Small caps and AIM in particular are out of favour at the moment. Who can blame punters? So many have gone broke ...like HCEG. WKS now has plenty of cash to buy up films /distribution deals etc. The share has been a dog ..but the directors have put so much of their own cash in now that you have to support them. Costa has sunk £1.5 million into wks. Maybe he wants to merge the two companies? | barnetpeter
31/10/2007 08:10 | Crispin buys 250K How much director buying do the punters need to see?!!! CR | cockneyrebel
31/10/2007 07:54 | Latest sales figures on 2 Days in Paris: | zedder
30/10/2007 14:17 | 250K off loaded by someone without a flick in the share price - must be a good buyer about then. CR | cockneyrebel
30/10/2007 11:15 | he still has 29.9% that's the most he can acquire without making a full blown bid. 29.9% is his holding after dilution. And whether he bought them in the market or not, he dilutes his own holding but obviously thinks taking a large wadge more of these makes a good investment. He can't take anymore now without making a full blown bid. CR | cockneyrebel
30/10/2007 07:51 | He hasn't acquired these in the market. These are new shares - 25,436,562 more dilution. | someuwin
30/10/2007 07:47 | Costa Theo, 29.9% - looks like he's acquired that quietly while punters here have ignored the share - eith he thinks these are a highly leveraged bargain where his 30% will make him a packet or he's going to take over the co - I'll be a winner either way imo. CR | cockneyrebel
28/10/2007 20:06 | you'd be a buyer if the shareprice was at an all time high then ah diesel? CR | cockneyrebel
28/10/2007 19:17 | This has a market cap of £3m, its shareprice is at an all time low, the market clearly is not impressed with the progress in tranforming the business. I question whether it can survive. | diesel
28/10/2007 16:13 | topvest, this is england is not a major earner for wks,you have to look out for the movies wks has the uk distribuition rights for imo. | scottie01
28/10/2007 13:58 | scburbs - sorry, I cannot reconcile the turnover forecasts. All I can point out is this from the interims: "The first stage of our ambitious re-engineering programme is almost complete; The Works UK Distribution is profitable and making a material contribution to Group overheads. We have established a stable base from which to scale up the business and the Board continues to evaluate funding and corporate opportunities to further its plans for expansion." Theta Group who know better than me hav etaken a big stake. I definitely wouldn't call this a major punt type stock but it seems to me it's worth a bit of backing in case they do a "Content Film" and become a 10 bagger imo. Wouldn't call it one of my 'safe' investments but the way these models work the sudden flood of royalties or licence fees can soon have a dramatic effect and it wouldn't surprise me to see revenues soar in H2.
