A lot of the Hargreaves Lansdown recommended funds are worthwhile I reckon. Not all though!

Over time trackers beat 90% of funds, but the ideal is finding the other 10% of funds.

Off topic - If greater Woodford does unwind I wonder if Hargreaves Lansdown will suffer? They love pumping active management, the cult of the star manager, and all those delicious fees. Their flag is still firmly up Woodford's pole when perhaps it would be wiser to politely cough and move away.

Back in 2015 at the launch of WPCT people were rightly asking Neil Woodford what expertise did he have in start-ups and smaller companies, given his career to date had been entirely in big plc's.

Woodford's answer was Allied Minds and the years he had followed the company since its inception.

Since 2015 ALM has fallen by two thirds. Logically then, we should expect a similar outcome with WPCT.

It was Einstein I believe that said to perform the same experiment expecting a different outcome is a sign of madness.

@ Dr B - I reported the Autolus news yesterday, and it said WPCT's holding was pref. shares. These may be convertible, or something else, but a big uplift in value isn't guaranteed.
