Doesn't speak well for the leadership team at WPCT does it...

Extraordinary that WPCT's incompetent board allowed Woodford to call the shots for years and still didn't get round to sacking him before he decided it was time to wave goodbye.

The Board of Woodford Patient Capital Trust plc (the "Company" or "WPCT") announces that, in light of recent events, Woodford Investment Management Limited ("WIM") has today served notice of termination in relation to its role as Portfolio Manager.

During its three-month notice period, WIM has committed to work collaboratively with the Board and its advisers throughout this transition period in order to protect the interests of shareholders.

The Board is in advanced discussions in relation to the ongoing management of the Company's portfolio and expects to be in a position to announce details of the new management arrangements shortly.

Yes, I too have house builders. Barratt Development has been a very good holding this year. I'm overweight in the sector and need to make sure I'm not too late on exit.

As WEIF and WPCT are completely different vehicles, presumably the Board (execs and non-execs) of WPCT has a duty to protect the interests of WPCT shareholders in isolation. Consequently it is their personal duty and responsibility specifically not to accept, or have accepted, the "dumping" of WEIF holdings in WPCT either by buying unlisteds directly (obv. via a friendly broker) from WEIF or swapping WPCT shares for unlisteds in specie. It is clear to me that WEIF has been benefiting, and will continue to benefit, from the process at a continuing cost to WPCT.

Does anyone on here know how to set up a class action against: Link; the Board; WIM; HL; and/or Mr Woodford himself? It is now clear to me that there are several specific grounds for some kind of action, many of which could and should be levelled at any or all of the above.

I don't understand why they can't enter "0%" rather than "less than 5%". That threw me a little.

55p in the pound monty eventually. There is still a very long wait for it too. Income holders need to be thankful for the existence of WPCT I think had income holders not had WPCT there for woody to dump the real worthless crud into, it would certainly be far worse for them!

No I suffer from a complex that when I'm wrongly accused of something by someone that hasn't got a clue what they're talking about, but whose objective is purely to denigrate, I correct their false statement.


I think there are many people in the same boat as me, but sadly on this BB plenty of people like yourself throwing mud around in the hope that some may stick.
