07/11/2018 10:41 | OK saltraider cu next bonfire night then!!! | ltcm1
06/11/2018 17:41 | A person should probably check out the price of WPCT about once a year ... at most. All the fuss various people/clones make around here is just 'noise about noise'. | saltraider
06/11/2018 17:30 | If Woody was atall confident he would be doing his kitchen broadcasts, he's lost his mojo and is just hoping now. Looks like the Swiss timing is up to the usual standards!!! | ltcm1
06/11/2018 17:15 | @ fpladdict - as one of the comments at the foot of the article says, the shorters need to be careful they don't get zapped by cold fusion! To what extent can NW influence the flow of lab results within that investment? Anyway, he'll have someone to blame. | jonwig
06/11/2018 17:03 | WPCT now being shorted by hedge funds. Woody has been here before, never seems to end well for him. hxxps://citywire.co. | fpladdict
06/11/2018 11:24 | I am optimistic Purple Bricks will prove a winner. Yes the price high was lumpy, but it ticks plenty of boxes, as a disrupter in a big sector, and rolling out swiftly internationally. | lewis121
06/11/2018 10:43 | Plenty have taken your advice Porsche and sold out of WPCT this morning. 80p by Xmas. | ltcm1
05/11/2018 20:04 | Purple Bricks going down the toilet today, another " Woodford Winner, just read the October comment on his site, usual macro crystal ball reading rubbish, would seem he thinks the Chinese curreny is devalued becos the economy is failing, as someone pointed out, what does that say about the UK then as sterling has collapsed against pretty much everything accelerating in the last six months. Cant believe people buy the waffle, got to stem the redemptions I guess, sold all the decent liquid stuff, Astra etc, wonder how long it will be until the valuations of the unlisted stuff in this pile of sxxt get found out. | porsche1945
03/11/2018 22:47 | Woody hasn't done many media appearances since his performance went down the toilet, but there's a new interview with the Daily Fail today: | daffyjones
02/11/2018 18:41 | I’m going to give some credit to Woodford. His monthly updates are quite useful and always worth a read. | topvest
02/11/2018 18:23 | Today's decline looks awfully like a bulltrap here. | ltcm1
02/11/2018 16:24 | @ ltcm - be fair, I got the email alert at 09:43. Would be good to have a response from r a m re my post #4815 concerning uncrossings in the auction periods. Or do facts get in the way of a good narrative which earns lots of upvotes? | jonwig
02/11/2018 15:14 | Trust Woodford to slip it out late on a Friday afternoon. | ltcm1
02/11/2018 14:25 | Oh, do shut up you stupid little shareprophet loser. ROFLMAO | 1tcm1
02/11/2018 13:34 | October roundup is out now on the woody website. Just more macro drivel though. Not worth wading through | daffyjones
02/11/2018 11:59 | jonwigifrith, you don't know what you're talking about, do you? Never have. LOL | brummieloser
02/11/2018 05:36 | @ yf23_1 - not necessarily, as most trackers are ETFs with a variable capital structure. @ r a m - the trade in question (9,209,092 shs) was marked 'UT', ie. uncrossing in the closing auction, and a match of buyers and sellers. | jonwig
01/11/2018 22:13 | Jonwig - what makes you say its a crossing...? Do you honestlybelieve thatAt the end of session you have orders on close which createa high volume ..... (suggest you look at any heavily traded share ( wpct today) and what do you see - a big volume trade.)The others as you say are late reported deals ( as are allowed) | researchanalystman
01/11/2018 20:55 | When WPCT left the FT250 index trackers sold 30m, so they must buy 30m again when it re-enters. NAV is 98p, so it still trades at a discount. DYOR | yf23_1
01/11/2018 19:46 | Thanks a lot Jonwig. | lewis121
01/11/2018 19:38 | @ lewis - the 9m was uncrossing in the closing auction, so doesn't count. The late-reported trades were probably ftse250 anticipation. | jonwig
01/11/2018 19:32 | FMI, these big buys at 91p at the closing-bell (£8 million etc), are they a short squeeze or the FTSE 250 thing? Just askin' | lewis121
01/11/2018 14:24 | Into the bomb shelters lads and lassies, jonwiggywinnie and his merry band of liars is telling us that for certain the sky is falling. In other news: a new record threshold is being passed today. The number of shareprophet trollposts has fallen from 93% to just 89% today. We should all be joyful despite the bad news from the evil empire that the world is ending this afternoon. In other other news: WPCT and PURP beat recent record highs today as Woodford buys all of PURP and Autolus and WPCT. You read it here so it must be true and ltcm1 confirms it. PS the Sage of Omaha approves because he was taught everything he knows by Winnie the Poo (ed.that's enough fibs for today, you're fired) | chuckol
01/11/2018 14:02 | PURP shares have seen some respite from their relentless slide today, up 6% on the news that rival eMoov is having to put itself up for sale due to a funding squeeze. Needs a £10m injection to keep itself running as a going concern, but existing investors are balking and don't want to throw away any more cash on it. Current investors include Sarah Beeny, AxelSpringer and the Express's porn baron Richard Desmond. Not sure why this is being seen as a positive for PurpleBricks to be honest. eMoov have a similar business model. Together with the recent demise of hatched.co.uk, this seems to be indicative of the failure of the fixed price online estate agency model. Woody owns over 29% of PURP. Could go badly wrong. | daffyjones |
