Video interview with Chairman Richard Poulden



Wishbone Gold (LON:WSBN) Executive Chairman Richard Poulden tells Proactive Investors there is cash for the acquisition strategy being pursued by the Australia focused precious metals firm. “We know that we have the support to raise funding if we find the acquisitions we want to go after.”

Poulden says 2015 will see much exploration activity at its White Mountains prospect where it is focusing primarily on gold. “It is an excellent store of value, the Chinese are buying into gold very heavily; there are going to be major changes in the world’s financial system and in the next five years renminbi will be linked to gold.”

Still got a few here but don't understand why there haven't been more acquisitions.

Arabian Money has tipped two gold shares for the coming upturn and one is Wishbone. Peter Cooper said of Wishbone Gold:



"The latter is the creation of a Dubai-based global investor Richard Poulden whose Sirius Minerals potash company saw its share price recover from near oblivion to be worth several hundred million. Will he be able to do it again with Wishbone Gold? I don't see why not. The gold concessions it owns in Queensland, Australia are excellent. If the gold price hits the roof Wishbone is a winner. Its oversold condition at the end of last year was a great buying opportunity, as I flagged up at the time. But there is still a ten-bagger or better here if I am right about gold."
