17/11/2021 13:52 | It was reported in the press that CEO, over time, wants to drive fees to zero but he didn't say, or not reported, how Wise would generate revenue thereafter. | stutes
17/11/2021 10:53 | The credit card, currency market, the arket power appears to be moving away from the big boys? | stutes
17/11/2021 10:15 | hxxps://www.cityam.c Looks as if big banks are set for another margin reduction | stutes
17/11/2021 08:53 | As we come to end of 2021 London equity market continues to under perform other markets. I think LSE share price could fall as more firms opt for EU or USA listing bypassing London. It might then force firms like Wise to follow Ryanair and review its London listing. Why be priced at a discount if you can go elsewhere and be priced at a higher rating? | stutes
17/11/2021 08:32 | hxxps://financefeeds | stutes
16/11/2021 17:56 | Neft Same here, bit of a let down at this stage, but very early days I think. | mercedes
16/11/2021 17:41 | Neftanik, have you heard of the PayNow - PromptPay cross border real time initiative? Central bank driven it looks like the future to me. | eaglebeagle
16/11/2021 17:12 | I'm a loyal and long term customer of Transferwise and thought investing in them was the right thing to do. Really wish I hadn't wasted my money FFS. I note the company is silent regarding their abysmal performance | neftanik
16/11/2021 09:27 | Down almost 2% on 137k volume and 2 weeks today and we will know the trading update. Seems City are taking a cautious view or have already made up their minds? | stutes
16/11/2021 08:53 | 7 trading days of down- some of the negative sentiment caused by plc directors offloading shares ahead of 30th November trading update, and a willingness to cut margin to secure revenue- question is, will revenue increase offset margin reduction? How long cam big banks see currency fees being squeezed? | stutes
15/11/2021 09:16 | I note a Spanish bank has introduced a €2 fee for customers who visit the bank for a service that is available free on the bank's internet. I suspect more banks will follow the example and charge customers but will it mean more customers switching to fintech firms? | stutes
15/11/2021 08:43 | Looks as if the ipo 6 months on and some are cashing out ahead of 30th November trading update. | stutes
12/11/2021 19:49 | Large trade of 1.8m shares, that surely has to be seed capital investors exiting in size, otherwise where are the shares coming from? PAY also down today | 1pencil
12/11/2021 10:41 | As Europe takes more control of its equity, euro and bond market I wonder if Wise can exploit the situation? | stutes
12/11/2021 08:49 | Today's share price adds to my belief tech firms should bypass London and list in USA - the example of Darktrace The Hut Gro and Wise are likely to put off investors and tech firms to own or list in London? | stutes
11/11/2021 17:57 | ADR's on tiny volume though, currently 4.7k according to market watch. My guess is the mms are oiking the price up and down to offload stock to retail, it would also explain today's move trying to maintain confidence. Stutes, its worth going over the prospectus again especially the risks section associated with a standard listing, pretty sure even producing accounts is more or less voluntary, if correct highly unlikely to appeal to any mainstream funds imo. | 1pencil
11/11/2021 16:53 | 4 days of markdown, makes you wonder if London is the right place to ipo Wise, especially when you look at US adr? | stutes
11/11/2021 16:43 | Wise up 0.97% in USA yet down 0.65% will we see some kind of arbitrage develop over time? | stutes
11/11/2021 15:26 | Is someone reading my posts, mms perhaps - third time price has moved afterwards? | 1pencil
11/11/2021 15:19 | There exists the possibility that Wise couldn't get an IPO away at their desired valuation, hence the odd direct listing where no shares are actually placed. It's clear that senior management are selling large quantities of options and/or stock ,as you say not a good incentive for the rest of us to buy. The whole company structure with A and B shares could be their very undoing if no one supports being a side lined shareholder. | 1pencil
11/11/2021 08:35 | The share/option ssle by plc directors would appear to have adversely affected confidence in the share price ahead of 30th November announcement? Surely the City are hesitant because if the results were better than forecast the directors would have timed their sale to ride ant rerating? We will know come 30th if the City is justified in it stance or not. | stutes
10/11/2021 17:22 | LSE down 1.23% while ADR down 0.38% - over time UK assets become too cheap and a target for foreign firms. The Hut Grp , CEO, regrets listing on LSE, I wonder if Wise regrets listing on London? | stutes
10/11/2021 12:01 | Stutes10 (132) Agree with some of your points but not everyone thinks Wise is cheap, as of last month nearly 4% out on loan, also see comments on LSE board for additional views. The last update indicated margins were under pressure and likely to remain so into next quarter, add this to the other points raised and the valuation looks full imo. | 1pencil
10/11/2021 11:56 | Gosh, you mean it's time to wise up? | glavey
10/11/2021 09:08 | I read how London market is cheap compared to other markets around the world, we see UK firms being bought or sold on to foreign buyers; Ryansir talking about delisting from London or Cazoo listed in USA. Overall London assets are trading a discount and firms like Wise should vote with their feet and secure higher valuations than London post Brexit is prepared to value them. | stutes |
