06/2/2022 18:06 | The FTSE 100 is past its sell-by date - we've failed to get a single big tech stock to list here | 1pencil
06/2/2022 10:59 | hxxps://www.thetimes London market seems to be the wrong market for tech firms to list. MOs in UK want Arm to list, but I think all tech firms should opt for US and avoid Lond Firms that have two tier share structure are surely in the same position as USA firms who have a poison pill ? Wise is trading above forecast yet yield curve, sale of shares by top directors have all been cited as reasons for the decline in the share price. Should W link up with Klarna or Revolut and switch main listing to Nasdaq? | stutes
04/2/2022 15:04 | I genuinely don’t think this moves the wise share price. What moves it will be if they change their share ownership structure and if they gets some v large partnership deals. | conwyrebel
04/2/2022 14:44 | In next few weeks we shall see UK banks reporting figures, more importantly, how fintech is taking market share from the big banks? | stutes
03/2/2022 19:11 | Citi missed its forecast - has the shares fallen 20%+? It also has issues over staff bonus - see below. Citigroup CEO faces disgruntled workers, regulators’ demands in tough first year | stutes
03/2/2022 17:37 | Paypal seems to be the new benchmark for the City to use on W. Yet , why is the City not differentiating W and P? What about P's problems from Ebay split and the too generous loyalty/customer plan? I think the City is damaging the London tech market and firms will as result opt for USA to list. | stutes
03/2/2022 08:54 | Down 3% on 80k volume? Does it go up 3% 3% on 80k vol - on recent evidence- no? | stutes
02/2/2022 16:43 | Paypal is down almost 24% but one of the drivers is ebay switching faster to its own platform , another is 4m customers being removed from the base. W is growing and upgraded its forecast but the City seems anti UK tech firms? | stutes
01/2/2022 08:36 | hxxps://www.cityam.c After how City have treated Deliveroo, THG and Wise I think Klarna should be open to the possibility that their share price could be hit by say 40%+. | stutes
31/1/2022 00:16 | Stutes if you want a link to work you must change first letter to a capital. | qantas
30/1/2022 16:52 | hxxps://www.cityam.c IMO the IBs or others might want to price but the treatment of Wuse and THG means 40% minimum discount to what the IB values the business at float. | stutes
29/1/2022 14:53 | Bit of commentary in Chrysalis AR released earlier in week along with THG. | 1pencil
29/1/2022 12:06 | PayPal reports Q4 on 1st February , we shall see if City reacts positively to the results or continue to mark W down on macro factors yet established banks appear supported regardless of competition or cost factors? | stutes
28/1/2022 16:46 | W down 6% on US data yet Dow, S&P and Nasdaq up ? | stutes
28/1/2022 14:58 | If W with its fintech infrastructure is hit by 30% drop , why aren't the big banks hit for the same % to reflect their side of cash business or firece competition? | stutes
28/1/2022 13:47 | Should W's shareholders opt to trade their shares privately, bypassing the City? If you look at Jupiter and the valuation of Klarna- why bother with London? | stutes
28/1/2022 08:43 | 38% drop from listing price of £8, London and IBs are going to find it very difficult to bring more firms to the market. | stutes
27/1/2022 13:16 | If you consider how firms trading in line with forecast seem to be hit by a 10% drop,e.g., Doc Martens, Wise ups its forecast is hit with 10%+ drop - yet banks trading below forecast - up? | stutes
25/1/2022 11:23 | 1pencil and eaglebeagle you are spot on. Regular users want certainty and ease of transaction. What they don't want are inconvenient extra anti-money laundering checks. As a highly valued business WISE needs to protect its reputation but I want my transfer to be accepted instantly even if it takes time for the money to reach the recipients bank account. WISE is great for small-value transfers between friends and family but there's a large part of the market that it will struggle to penetrate. | kinwah
24/1/2022 18:26 | 2.3m shares or in current value terms, £14m and City knocks 7% off a £8bn cap business - but it pushed it down over 10% during today's trading hours. The only logic is panic pricing rather than valuing a business on its own merits it shows why private equity has an advantage over the City? | stutes
24/1/2022 15:20 | hxxps://www.fool.com Well the City isn't listening? | stutes |
