In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, Wincanton announces that, with effect from 1 October 2018, its Chairman, Dr Martin Read CBE, has been appointed as Chairman Designate for the new independent British energy supply and services company to be formed, subject to final regulatory approval, by SSE plc and innogy SE.
