QS every chance imo, pre close statement will be end March.

Still very busy and constantly taking on new staff. Waitrose goes live next week.

There is currently something going on here re the share price....which I take as a strong sign we are about to gap up again, bigger players involved imo.

There was mention that the buyers would then potentially add Asda convenience stores to their garage sites. Lots of logistics.

The Asda buy out deal was completed this week, just subject to formal approval of the government which will happen.

Will Wincanton get any of the outsourced logistics, does it want it?

If nothing else it show the way forward for these companies.

Sell/move assets, lease back, perfect for Wincanton right place right time.

Good start - and what looks like some positive (if algorithm-y) coverage on Stockopedia:

"Here are two reasons why Wincanton (LON:WIN) could be a stock to watch
Wed 8:31am by Ben Hobson

The Wincanton (LON:WIN) share price is currently trading at 312.72. But to try and predict what the price will look like in the next 12 months and beyond, it's worth knowing its strengths and potential weaknesses. The encouraging news for shareholders is that it shows signs of stacking up well against some important financial and technical measures...

Wincanton is a mid-cap share with at least some exposure to two of the most influential drivers of investment returns in the stock market: high quality and strong momentum.

etc"

yeah....massive logistic company in mega demand and the stockmarket aren't interested.

Almost all big companies with own transport and warehousing are looking to outsource, sell warehousing and lease back, same with logistics, move staff to 3rd party like Wincanton, lightens their load massively.

Time will tell

What’s the thinking? To be taken private with PE support? If I was management I know I would.

As the chart I posted in January shows this is an interesting level, challenged but not passed for many years...
