solid AGM statement today.

dividend should increase to match the growth in underlying earnings.

positive company but a slow burner if you have patience.

A KEY MILESTONE HAS BEEN THE BOARD’S RECOMMENDATION TO RESUME THE PAYMENT OF AN ANNUAL DIVIDEND, STARTING WITH A FINAL DIVIDEND THIS YEAR.

The Board is proposing a final dividend of 5.5p for 2015/16 payable in August 2016. It is anticipated that in future years, the interim and final dividend split will be broadly one-third / two-thirds.
The Board’s intention is to adopt a progressive dividend policy, with annual dividend growth broadly matched to the growth in underlying earnings.

good luck mate, agree this is a slow story, but hoping the next RNS and divi payments starting in earnest will help move this along....let's see

I'm out lads. Been around since they last paid a divi (6 years I think!), saw my investment crash to 40p before the long road to recovery. Managed a 2% compounded return all in. Not the greatest but happy to get my money back after the dark days. Sure you guys can do better, still plenty of potential here but my time was up!

The only thing not to like is the lack of progress on the pensions deficit - it continues to eat up cashflow. But the results and the dividend both well in excess of market forecasts.

BOOM.....divi 5p reinstated....net debt right down....eps 23p I believe....glad I topped up yesterday.....DYOR etc...but this IMO is now under-rated and should start generating some city support again...IMO

Fair enough, but with little or no debt the yield will also come into play IMO....or as broker has pointed out, someone may take it out....
