looks like a persistent seller IMO....can't see what has changed since last update in Nov and sale has gone through so must IMO be close to debt free...if they can sort out the defined pension scheme in one to and offload, then future free cash will be seen as accruing to equity holders and may see a re-rating IMO....can't see why it is so lowly rated vs peers but there you go...hopefully Pullman issues behind it from last RNS>

The share price drop looks small enough to random noise barring yesterday, which I put down to market conditions. Apparently win's contracts pass fuel price changes to the end customer, and if you think about it, that must be the case on any long term contract or they risk going bust if there's a war or other cause of a large price rise.

simples! hehe, yes indeed, but also been fairly "downward" since RNS on sale.....may take opportunity to top up, Booker's statement wasn't too bad....not sure how much of oil price they have to pass on but should be helping should it not?

anyone still in WIN?

Seems to have fallen out of bed somewhat....despite November's upbeat RNS and sale to clear debt down....

Don't think there will be divi news till year end imo.

They need to get shot of Pullman or actively do something with it soon imo.

Aside from that, pretty decent and getting shot of the records business looks a good move.

All imo

Also nothing on resumption of dividend payments - thought they might at least say it is under consideration ...
Edison did flag that they would be producing a longer "initiation" note after the interims, so I would hope greater visibility of forecasts will assist re-arting in due course

A good, positive outlook created - just need the turnaround promised to materialise in H2. Be interesting to see the impact of the new 3- and 5-yr contracts.

Good reduction in average and net debt figure, one which the £60mln from Home Records can enhance for the full-year results.

Curates egg of results. Expect market will forecast on unexpeted extra £2m losses at Pullman, but the underlying logisitics business is well positioned and Pullman turnover is growing - just need onerous contracts to drop away in H2 and looks well placed for 2016

Agree 18BT - well over assets. De-risks the business a lot and the reduced interest charges on that cash should more than offset the profits it was making imo - probably making it earnings enhancing slightly.

Looks a cracking deal imo.

That's a very good price for the business - EBITDA multiple of 11.1x or 21x PER. I know cash doesn't yield much, but reducing net bank debt down to c£10m in one go and putting additional funds in the pension scheme massively de-risks this company.

China's dumped steel leaves UK industry facing fight for survival
After 160 years, steel making on Teesside is in danger of coming to a full stop. But the root cause of its demise lies in China, not the North.

Chinese imports were 2pc of UK steel demand in the first half of 2011, a figure expected to rise to 8pc this year.
