02/7/2020 13:48 | Find raising shores up balance sheetNot a defence against hostile bidBut true that they have enough going on organicallyWe done Done Bro accumulating and US position makes them attractive to some very large pocketed US companiesDraft kings ideally placed although UK bricks and mortar might not appeal | trentendboy
02/7/2020 13:40 | You think William Hill will be bought out after fund raising.Highly unlikely.Sector is high profile due to Usa opportunities. The money will sit back until clarity on more states legalising and sports start to return ro normal.Great investment op at this price. | longwell
01/7/2020 19:27 | Some massive volumes going throughThere should be some RNSs kicking in here soon enoughIf Done bros buying more this will fly on bid rumoursThe sale of Hills likely to trigger a bidding war imo | trentendboy

01/7/2020 13:35 | Clearly treating holders with contempt. This is a 200p share all day. The only thing that has changed is EPS. | smartie6
01/7/2020 13:26 | Fight back now on. There’s so many positives in this business I don’t get why running scared. I just feel sorry for those that panic sold over last few days. They’ve taken your money so easily. | smartie6

01/7/2020 12:14 | "Must be a big overhang needed to be worked through" Absolutely. The California news and the market's fear of UK Online regulation have also hit WMH particularly hard given it's geographical online/retail footprint. No point in fighting the trend/seller. Pick your moment. | frazboy
01/7/2020 12:08 | Must be a big overhang needed to be worked throughWill turn on any news but a depressing trend | trentendboy
01/7/2020 12:06 | Wonder who took 16m shares yesterday.. | noujay
01/7/2020 07:45 | States locking down again. Fears of sports being stopped along with betting on them. No real surprise these are falling again. Another chance to fill your boots when the US lockdown really eases. All imho dyor etc etc. | bantam175
30/6/2020 17:33 | This is now very cheap again and worth a strong buy in my opinion. I've backed that up with a further top-up myself at 1.13 this afternoon. Granted the one BIG negative is Corona and possible further sports cancellations, which could lower Hills price further. Although, this too would positively increase the chances of a takeover. Now just look at the other positives, of which there are many, consider the moves that Hills have made in recent months that have significantly strengthened their financial position; they have re-capitalised and renegotiated their banking covenants for this year and next, they have stopped the dividend saving them around 45 million towards Opex, they have completed a share placing recently at a price of 1.28, with Directors also taking allocations at that price, they expect 125-200 million tax rebate from Govt for FOBTs (expect share price bump when this is officially announced), One of the potential TO suitors, Betfred owner Fred Done, had average share purchase price of 1.12 up till recently and has stated in media he still feels that is great value considering Hills current/existing US position and future growth potential. So all in all I am very happy buying at this level, and have also held some cash reserves back to jump in again further if share price continues to fall with Corona and Cancellations continuing to screw us all in the short term... | lukesonofvader
30/6/2020 17:28 | What I don't get is the placing... They had no problems with it so people must see a positive outlook but the share price plummets | cohenra1979
