Board Changes
Iconic Labs Plc (LSE:ICON), a multi-divisional new media and technology business, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Asante to the board as an executive director. Additionally, Richard Thompson and Will Muirhead have resigned from the board as non-executive directors with immediate effect to focus on their other interests.
Sam Asante, currently the Chief Operating Officer at Iconic Labs, began his career in the industry when he grew a social media account organically to one million followers during his gap year. He continued to create and manage social media accounts during his time at University studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics. In 2012, he joined UNILAD, where he initially focused on establishing commercial operations, before shifting to product and marketing and working closely with the CEO and MD to innovate and drive the business forward.
Sam Asante, aged 29, in addition to any directorships he holds in respect of companies in the Iconic Labs group, currently holds or has held the following directorships and partnerships in the last five years:

The board recognises the benefit of experienced non-executive directors with the right sector and corporate skills to best help the Company as it accelerates its growth. In this regard, discussions are underway and the Company will make announcements in due course.
