Some volume coming into the stock. Things are starting to move up a gear for Widecells with plenty going on corporately.

Agreed MM re stock. For a public company, the board is surprisingly light on listed company experience. I think the company could benefit from bringing someone in who has done all this stuff before. It is probably something potential larger investors would like to see also.

Also agree, management is doing a great job. They came across as very confident when I met them last night.

I went last night but arrived too late to catch the Widecells presentation, which was the first in the Proactive lineup. However, I caught up with Joao for a chat afterward. He told me that the Mideast deal just announced could end up being a lot more extensive as the new partner is well-connected and wants to build up a substantial stem cell presence in the region. Alan Greenberg was there also. He has been a surprise package for the company. I believe the Wideacademy division was originally conceived more of a marketing tool, but Alan is turning it into a significant profit center. As an ex-senior Apple executive, he also brings a lot of presence to the company.

I think the company is really starting to come together and is about to enter its high growth phase. It is also great to see the stock becoming more active and should start to attract higher profile shareholders soon.

RNS out today

Seems interesting & I must say for such a small company it’s certainly got quite a few
irons in the fire.
New office set up in Dubai, to cover EMEA & Turkey, 5 year deal with upfront payment
to Widecells- interesting company Mr Andrade certainly works very hard.

timbo003, I have a couple of questions if you are going

1) They are saying revenue is the big story now, so how much revenue has been brought in so far? How much revenue do they think will come in over the next six months? Will the company be providing regular updates so shareholders can track this

2) The company has developed enormously over the last 12 months, but the share price hasn't gone anywhere, and there are virtually no buyers of the stock. Why is this?

Agree with pranchalee, this could be a really special company. Just wanting to understand how quickly they can translate all this corporate development into shareholder return. So far the stock has been pretty disappointing.

timboo003 thanks for the offer but i bet you know as much about wdc as we do so if you get a chance i will leave the questions up to you then maybe you will join us as a shareholder here if the answers answer your doubts as far as being over complicated i disagree this could become a special company one with recurring revenues the type the stock market likes.

Cheers, timbo003, I can't make it, unfortunately. But it is an intriguing company. My question is "Do they think the company has become over-complicated? Given it is so small, shouldn't they just focus on trying to make money from one thing, rather than five or six?" Thanks in advance if you get time to ask this.

Widecells will be at the Proactive investor evening on Thursday 2nd November along with Synairgen and Immupharma. The event is free to attend (although you have to register) and there are drinks and canapes provided after the meeting and a chance to chat to the presenters:

I don't currently Widecells (I hold modest stakes in the other two) but I follow Widecells interest. I almost invested at the IPO, but wasn't entirely happy that they were listing on the Main market and not on AIM (i.e. there was zero chance of EIS tax relief) so I passed on the opportunity,

Ill be happy to put any sensible questions to Widecells on investors behalf at the meeting (just let me know), as I will certainly be firing a few questions at Synairgen and Immupharma.

That big charity commitment announcement was a bit weird, especially from a company that is not making a profit yet. I can't figure out if this is an insurance company, dental products company or some kind of research/education/charity foundation?

Feels a bit like they are presenting a business case for a company 20 times the size, (maybe it will become 20 times the size!). Will be interesting to see how quickly they can get revenue in, but I guess we won't know that until they report finals next summer? do you think they will put out operational updates before that?
