Richard Griffiths has 13.29% of AUE.

The people on the AUE thread were getting quite excited about it so I pointed them here to look at his other holdings.

Ironsides Partners LLP

Fund founded by Robert Knapp

"Ironsides Partners LLC (“Ironsides”) is a Boston-based U.S.-registered investment adviser specializing in asset value investing. Ironsides focuses on closed end funds, holding companies and corporate restructurings.

Our core philosophy is that markets often price securities at a wide disparity from the intrinsic value of underlying assets. We seek opportunities to purchase assets at a substantial discount to readily ascertainable asset values or to sell or short securities priced at a premium to intrinsic value. Other strategies employ more traditional value investing methods.

Additional Information
Ironsides manages the Ironsides Partners Opportunity Fund, the Ironsides Partners Special Situations Fund and other managed accounts."

OTM - yes thanks one of the Weiss investments that have performed well.

CDI - thanks for the heads up. You might have timed your entry to perfection, only time will tell.

Ironsides have been mentioned before so I will dedicate the next post to them and charts of their holdings.

No idea, I just follow Weiss blindly usually but I didn't follow them in to the first purchase for the reason you mention.

I wonder if they treat it as an option. i.e. short dated long option little time value but volatility and gamma will work in you favour. If they don't you get the cash back without commission or spread charges.

I haven't looked what BHUE's benchmark is but they just might be short that or the underlying.

Any idea why BHUE is attractive to them ? It is very very close to NAV which appears to be in liquid listed cos. I fail to see the logic.
