12/1/2018 10:13 | I don't wish to be controversial but when some these tipsters/journalist (RL, TW, PS etal.) write something be mindful of their motives. If you search and read around the web in sufficent detail you'll find quite a bit of information on these guys some of it not very nice, quite unsavoury. They even slight one and other. I have a very jaundiced view of them and the opaque way they operate. wouldn't it be nice to be a bit -ve to tempt a few sellers so the share price will drop and i can accumulate aimho woody | woodcutter
12/1/2018 09:56 | Thanks for your reassuring words Woody. A lot has happened just recently and the drop was a surprise to me but I did a small top up during the recent fall. Many thanks again to net for his Waterloo clip. | 666james
12/1/2018 09:29 | I see Roger Lawson (reputation?) has posted on WEY having read the article i'm inclined to think he's off the mark. He clearly hasn't looked at the business finances, the operational gearing is exceptional he's focused too much on one aspect of marketing and not enough on the growth in pupil numbers seen already. On the subject of google and gcse's if you goolge online schools it's top of the list so his research isn't that deep if you ask me. We can discuss valuations all day but the demand and market growth will continue. As with many other sectors this is a disruptive technology. I don't post frequently but my history of posts is well researched and my view is if you hold longer term this will be very rewarding. I'm invested in decent size from 5p and have only traded and bought back once for a reasonable return. Oh and the recent placing was well over subscribed woody | woodcutter
12/1/2018 09:09 | Thank you the clip netcurtains, and your contribution to this forum. Pleasantly surprised by the waterloo ad. | seanworld
12/1/2018 08:57 | The Waterloo Station Ad (a video clip) This is definitely not a day trade stock. If you BELIEVE that the UK could support at least ONE FTSE 250 online education company (as I do) then hold and within a few years, I hope, we all will be wealthy. Its a question of belief. | netcurtains
12/1/2018 08:43 | Well, my selling yesterday and a further 46k today (yet to show up on Level 2?) probably did not help either. Suspect later today or Monday there could be a reasonable increase in the share price ... | carcosa
12/1/2018 08:37 | Possible reason for recent falls:"The vendor is restricted from dealing in their entire holding including the New Ordinary Shares until around 13 January 2018 (being twelve months after the date the deferred consideration shares are issued for the year ended 31 August 2016)."Will wait and see.DD | discodave4
12/1/2018 08:26 | rampmeister: I clearly searched for the wrong "words". Guess they need to cover more words in Google Adwords. | roger-lawson
12/1/2018 06:55 | If you want to use mail shots this is a good route: ongage: | netcurtains
11/1/2018 22:43 | I think that the search engine optimisation SEO route to marketing could prove the most successful. If you need to find anything you look it up on google... fact. I searched for online school and inter high pops up on page one. Looks like their SEO people are on the ball. RM | rampmeister
11/1/2018 20:21 | Appreciate your feedback Roger and time spent writing up your opinion of the seminar. | seanworld

11/1/2018 16:02 | Taken more in the dip today. All seems well! | martinthebrave
11/1/2018 14:39 | The article below is really interesting. A tuition company expanded really really really fast over the past couple of years - even opened up in Dallas Texas. The problem its hitting is BUSINESS RATES..... .....Could be that WEY and this business could be good soul mates... From the link In business terms, what would make your life easier? Business rates are a real bugbear for bricks and mortar businesses like Explore Learning. It feels like the politicians have their heads in the sand on the issue as they do not know where they will recover any lost revenue from if they change the system. In the meantime, businesses like ours have to carry on bearing that burden. Unless something is done, the high street will be the worse for it. | netcurtains
11/1/2018 13:37 | Also used this as an opportunity to get in. | texas_caddy
11/1/2018 13:25 | Ha! here for the long haul too :o) | bigbigdave
11/1/2018 13:14 | bigbigdave: I suspect they know that so their tips probably are for a 12 month period not 12 days. They are expecting (I guess) a big big big rise within 12 months. | netcurtains
11/1/2018 13:02 | Shares mag tip, kiss o death! :o) | bigbigdave
11/1/2018 13:00 | looks like a tree shake by those mischievous MMs | melody9999
11/1/2018 12:49 | Is this dropping....buy on rumour, sell on news ? Many thanks Verulamium for your thoughts. | 666james
11/1/2018 09:14 | 8:50 auction that's all!. | discodave4
11/1/2018 09:03 | looks like the investors at the meeting and the agm liked what they heard. price is going up. If all as expected people hoping for 50s 60s 70s and higher in relatively quick order - and then a reasonable dividend for your retirement! (well mine) | netcurtains |
