the WEY WEATHER is a brilliant idea, it could easily lead to acquiring the student fulltime if they are really happy with this complementary/emergency service.

They could even start with a very low price, sort of a trial (being an emergency and not a long term commitment for WEY they could consider it as a sort of lost leader) for the first 3 days or so.

It would be what in internet marketing is called a lead magnet: a compelling product you give away for free to get a lead (typically an email address, in this case the name/contact of a student).

The typical lead magnet must:

be free or very cheap
solve a problem
solve it easily
solve it quickly

netcurtain's idea of a weather option, if offered at a reasonable initial/trial price seems to have all the above

Yep for us workers 5pm is about the earliest! 10:30am is for the professionals, retired or the very rich.

Well, there's the AGM on 10th January where investors can usually chat with the directors after the formalities are done."Wey Education also intends to hold its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 10(th) January 2017 at 10:30am at a location in London to be confirmed. The formal notice of the AGM will be posted in due course."That said, I am unable to commit to going to that for now. I'll know nearer the time.

....The way it could work is that the schools teacher could log on using a WEY-WEATHER account and so could that teachers class (those that had a laptop or similar device or can get a friends one) and they could carry on working via WEYs software for the few days the school is out of use.

The kids could get the account details via school twitter feed (on the day ) .

You could imagine a day when every school in the UK might have WEY-WEATHER insurance for their A level and GCSE students.

bones you may laugh, but some schools might want to carry on during snow etc (especially for GCSE students or A level students getting near exams). They might want to get B2B cover (like an insurance premium) to get the services of WEY whenever its snowing or flooding or some other weather related school closure. WEY School Insurance Cover - if you like. Pay to get POTENTIAL COVER if required.

● products and services supplying growing markets;
● sound operational and financial controls; and
● good cash generation to finance ongoing development allied with a progressive dividend policy.

Agree Net that Interhigh is a key brand name but the target is aimed more at the WeyEcademy side is it not?

I'm thinking if WEY do merge/take-over academy21 (or similar) it would be good to keep ONE SCHOOL name INTERHIGH (helps keep marketing simple).

To cope with the extra size, as I said before, split INTERHIGH into "Houses" like Harry Potter so it never gets too big, and if you do merge with another school the "Head of Maths" etc can still be the head of that "house" - so no one should feel they have lost their job.

I didn't mean it like that Net. I read kvov's post as meaning that WEY's RNS about their target describes the services it provides word for word as though WEY were repeating their lines. If so, this could imply who the target is.

This is going to get confusing, so let's move on to something else!.
