22/11/2017 16:46 | these are the people who have just bought 7% or so: their blurb say they expect to hold their stocks for about 5 years or more. A bit like me I guess. Well done Uni mate you're onto a winner if you follow me! | netcurtains
22/11/2017 16:16 | todays' RNSs Milton has slightly reduced their stake (I guess they simply locked in a great profit) and two new institutions, , Killik and Unicorn, have bought for the first time. Which I think is brilliant news. AM I right? tx | the patient investor
22/11/2017 10:46 | Real sell price 32.13 on HL, real buy price 33.6666 - so high spread today, but not dropped as much as the likes of IG would have you believe. Tempted to top up anyway... might see if it falls further at lunch-time... shoulda woulda coulda topsliced at 42p knowing how tightly-held & jagged this is. Should come very good in Jan, GLA | runthejoules
22/11/2017 06:59 | hitsha1: Yep I posted just a few weeks ago about the ETON joint venture in China. EtonX . | netcurtains

21/11/2017 22:55 | Net, yes, should be a well targeted campaign that one. Middle class commuters by the truckload! | bones

21/11/2017 18:44 | bones: I think the Waterloo advert would work best in combination with people handing out leaflets (etc) at the station (that is the normal approach at Waterloo - eg companies like "Hello Fresh" etc). Waterloo is actually A LOT LESS BUSY IN FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY (people away skiing) so its possible they got the advert extra cheap - which is an even better bargain).. - its MONDAY 8th - THE FIRST DAY EVERYONE GOES BACK TO WORK.... That is just the right day to get them thinking about ending the school run.. Here are all the facts and figures about advertising at railway stations | netcurtains
21/11/2017 17:55 | If you hold this stock for 12 to 18 months you probably will see £2-3 short term 70-80p, waiting for Chinese to join in on the online education, they don’t have to spend so much coming here, wait and watch | hitsha1
21/11/2017 17:27 | I've updated the header to include details of the recent placing and possible acquisition, updated the shareholder details for >3% interests after the placing, and added the link for the Chairman's interview with DirectorsTalk on 15/11/17. | bones
21/11/2017 16:40 | Net, I assume that they regard 8th January as a day of maximum eyeballs at Waterloo after the holidays. People feeling generous about their kids after Christmas? Crafty technique, but clever! | bones
21/11/2017 16:32 | glawsaian, I believe the board wanted a wider spread of institutions on the register and I assume Miton had their reasons or feel they are loaded up enough, maybe? I do not know for sure. | bones
21/11/2017 16:30 | Bones, apologies. As an MGR holder I'd seen their rns and then deej4y's comment and come up with the (incorrect) conclusion. Wonder why they would not participate at 22p? | glawsiain
21/11/2017 16:12 | Glawsiain, no I think that just reflects their smaller share of the issued capital after the recent fund raise. Miton kept what they had but didn't participate in the raise. | bones
21/11/2017 16:00 | WATERLOO STATION..... LOL!!!! blimy!!! Now that is a BIGGGGGGGGGGG ADVERT | netcurtains
21/11/2017 15:46 | Miton have RNS'd to show they have reduced their holding | glawsiain
21/11/2017 15:39 | I would guess an institutional investor is banking some profit, so there's a large sell order in background I maybe wrong and happy to be corrected if i am wrong | deej4y
21/11/2017 11:06 | Bought TFD at 36.25. GLA | runthejoules
21/11/2017 09:49 | You do paint a lovely picture net. Tea /coffee / etc. I think we are going thru' a tree shake. Finding any weak holders. | 666james
21/11/2017 09:16 | hitsha1: How on earth do you know all this stuff? But interestingly yesterday was the day the new shares came out and it appeared, generally speaking, as far as I can tell, the institutions did not sell. That has to be a good sign. The next piece in the jigsaw will be the acquisition. It would be interesting to see if part of the deal is giving shares to the owners of the company involved or will it all be cash. Were the owners of the private company invited to buy shares as "an institution" or would that be not allowed? Its going to be an interesting few weeks The Christmas term starts after Christmas and perhaps adverts about cold school runs compared to learning in the warmth by the fire with a mug of tea/coffee/cocoa with your friends and family would work quite well. | netcurtains
20/11/2017 17:16 | Good day today plenty more to come, you watch ASH will start moving soon | hitsha1 |
