their blurb say they expect to hold their stocks for about 5 years or more. A bit like me I guess.

Milton has slightly reduced their stake (I guess they simply locked in a great profit) and two new institutions, , Killik and Unicorn, have bought for the first time. Which I think is brilliant news.

Real sell price 32.13 on HL, real buy price 33.6666 - so high spread today, but not dropped as much as the likes of IG would have you believe. Tempted to top up anyway... might see if it falls further at lunch-time... shoulda woulda coulda topsliced at 42p knowing how tightly-held & jagged this is. Should come very good in Jan, GLA

bones: I think the Waterloo advert would work best in combination with people handing out leaflets (etc) at the station (that is the normal approach at Waterloo - eg companies like "Hello Fresh" etc).

Waterloo is actually A LOT LESS BUSY IN FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY (people away skiing) so its possible they got the advert extra cheap - which is an even better bargain)..

- its MONDAY 8th - THE FIRST DAY EVERYONE GOES BACK TO WORK....

That is just the right day to get them thinking about ending the school run..

glawsaian, I believe the board wanted a wider spread of institutions on the register and I assume Miton had their reasons or feel they are loaded up enough, maybe? I do not know for sure.

Bones, apologies. As an MGR holder I'd seen their rns and then deej4y's comment and come up with the (incorrect) conclusion.

Wonder why they would not participate at 22p?

Glawsiain, no I think that just reflects their smaller share of the issued capital after the recent fund raise. Miton kept what they had but didn't participate in the raise.

hitsha1: How on earth do you know all this stuff? But interestingly yesterday was the day the new shares came out and it appeared, generally speaking, as far as I can tell, the institutions did not sell. That has to be a good sign.
The next piece in the jigsaw will be the acquisition. It would be interesting to see if part of the deal is giving shares to the owners of the company involved or will it all be cash. Were the owners of the private company invited to buy shares as "an institution" or would that be not allowed? Its going to be an interesting few weeks

The Christmas term starts after Christmas and perhaps adverts about cold school runs compared to learning in the warmth by the fire with a mug of tea/coffee/cocoa with your friends and family would work quite well.
