We had 12+ days as a constant winner, let’s have the same again, also coming off a nice pull back

In profit after 18-24 months. This one is a runner. One good point about all companies/shares aimed at children....there is a fresh supply every year!

With this model you get lifelong learning as well. If the company can stay free of predators an the BoD don't mess it up, there is only one direction this share price is going ^^.
These kind of recurring cash revenus internet based companies are a cash cow.
LTBH for me.

The stand out point for me was the cash flow from operating activities of £439,000 (18.3% to revenue) which covered all capital expenditure for the year, including the IT platform development, and is probably a far better guide to true profitability (given Wey is at a stage where amortisation, depreciation and other non operational costs have a disproportionately negative effect on the P&L)

Growth looks set to continue at a stellar rate with cash flow approaching 20%. That's exactly what I invested in.

Looks pretty good, I just wish it wasn't so illiquid so that I could have had more.

Growth in turnover and B2b very positive, and increase in marketing will help. Autumn intake has obviously been good at the ecademy, but still it seems working towards the year target as they mention elsewhere. The quality of the products are undeniable.

The rest underwhelming. Can't hide my disappointment, would rather be honest.

The profit is miniscule at 17k, and while that doesn't worry me in itself, the increased marketing spend will make it very hard to get anywhere near next year's number of 800k.

Some sign of promise but overall I think several years of work to do do make the company into something we'd all like to see. Infinity is already being re-targeted to different market than intended, while Quarlexis 'will take time' to develop revenues and profits.

No doubt the bulls will disagree, which is fine, and good luck to all. Fully valued at 20 million market cap imho, for now.

This is the KEY for me (could even be TV ads so rumours suggest)

Marketing

The Group actively advertises online but intends to increase its marketing efforts considerably this year, both in terms of personnel and overall spend. At the current time, most advertising is online and through social media but consideration is being given to expanding into other areas of targeted advertising to raise the Group's profile and increase target customer awareness of the Group's products. An example of such is a new initiative that has just been agreed with the well-known website "Mumsnet" (www.mumsnet.com). Wey has entered into an affiliate partnership of Mumsnet which will create and post on the Mumsnet website informative content about home schooling and be promoted to Mumsnet 195,000 subscribers through its daily newsletter with links to Wey's services and websites.

This suggests to me that Autumn 2017 to Autumn 2018 is the year WEY is planning to break out big time!

RNS OutlookThe Group's turnover grew 60% this year and the Board's ambition is to at least maintain that rate of growth in the current year and beyond.InterHigh and the Wey ecademy recruit pupils throughout the year. Pupil numbers on the roll are ahead of 2016/17 and currently growing steadily towards our target for the year.

grabbed a few more first thing at 17.37p. bought back a first tranche at 21p after selling out around 27p. share price has fallen significantly from there so expecting in line results will provide support and anything better means upside. gla

kaka47: That is not the point. They have to be both better than what people think AND OR have lots of interesting stuff to keep us all invested.

We dont really need 'here and gone tomorrow' - type investors, that does no one any good.

You know those "level 2" thingies.
Does the price rise show that there are some big "buys" waiting in the wings for stock?

Don't most businesses/organisations cover education costs for staff working abroad, or am I out of date? But yes, obviously many would want the kids to go with them and this makes it possible - and indeed if the business does cover costs they're much more likely to cover this than boarding school.

I'd be interested to see how Infinity's taking off - it's a bit of a gamble for the early adopters, and presumably there's some temptation for Infinity to relax entry requirements in the early days. They can cream off the top of Interhigh with special offers, but risk damaging standards there if they do. Like any new school, it's much easier once there are some solid results achieved.
