Its obviously a long time since you visited Spoons kreature .Its not a venue you would visit to watch football. With the shortages of food items on the menu, im beginning to wonder why I do visit.Oh yes I remember , for the ridiculously cheap drink prices .Plus I can keep my distance from the unvaccinated and use the App.We should bring in segregation .You could be the new Martin luther King kreature to regain your civil rights .

How is this going to workPeople on this board such as kreature invest in wetherspoons ,but won't be able to enter the premises Covid certificates will be needed to enter pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs under plans to stave off a fourth wave of the virus in the autumn, it has been reported. The proposals would mean Britons would have to show vaccination passports to prove they are double-jabbed or have had a recent negative test before entering entertainment venues.Experts hope the move will increase the stalling vaccination rates among young people and limit another surge in cases.

If people keep losing time off work through being in contact with someone with Covid in pubs they will stop visiting. That means track and trace will have to end and so Covid is going to rip through the population. Personally i wont feel like visiting massively crowded bars and I feel many will have the same thoughts .I'm happy with the rules at the moment .Will I change my attitude. I'm not sure .

Hospitality firms risk collapse despite 19 July opening up, MPs hear

Select committee told of £10bn debt built up over pandemic and lack of guidance on easing of Covid rules

More pubs, bars, hotels and restaurants could be facing collapse, despite restrictions easing from 19 July, having built up almost £10bn in debt during the pandemic.

Hospitality, retail and property business leaders told MPs on Tuesday there was an urgent need to revamp business rates, kick off arbitration on rent debts and extend payment terms for government-backed loans, as the government hands over responsibility on Covid protection measures to individual businesses.

Almost a quarter of landlords and tenants have yet to reach agreement on £6.5bn in unpaid rent bills ahead of the end of a moratorium on evictions for vulnerable businesses in March next year, the British Property Federation told parliament’s business select committee. Hospitality businesses are more likely to be facing difficulties than retailers.

The government has announced plans to resolve these rent debts with a binding arbitration process but details of the scheme have yet to be announced.

And people with health problems ,or the elderly or the worried will flock to crowded pubs in droves ???Not so sure about that ,but I did predict that a while agoThe unvaccinated will .Captain Foresight Scientists advising government predict infections could peak after August - with 1,000 to 2,000 hospital admissions a day

Govt advises to wear a mask in crowded places such as public transport and use your common sense, then get off the transport and go into a pub that you won't be able to get a cigarette paper between yourself and the next person .How does that work ??The only difference is that people may not have Chosen to go on public transport and it may be neccesity. People will CHOOSE not to visit crowded pubs if they deem the risk is too high .An example was last night as 2 mates stayed away from the pub ,as their habits have changed they said .How many more have done the same .

FY 2022 consensus looks too optimistic imv, as mentioned last week.

Rather a delayed share price reaction to the recent trading update which did not read
particularly well - others might see it differently.
