19/7/2021 10:56 | Have a look on internet. Fowler co firmed too. The 5 DRC airports were running at over 1mill passengers outgoing per year pre Covid, then dropped to half. They will get $25 per embarking passenger so building in a huge safety net in the $6mill first year expected revs. He stated it's a $500mill+ contract. 20 years, 1mill+ passengers at $25 each. Then there is the cargo screening... | drmaccers
19/7/2021 09:25 | Today is just a car crash. The reckless measures by the government have killed our penny share market and now the FTSE itself is collapsing Wsg for me is a bargain but even bargains struggle in bear markets | dave4545
19/7/2021 09:20 | My bad. I took it as SL not DRC. Apologies. Comments on fees for certain flights and how airport figures are reported stand. | deanowls
19/7/2021 08:45 | They only announced the contract in June! | on target
19/7/2021 08:45 | Just checked the 2019 accounts. Pax served for the whole year and this was prior COVID and their record year, 121,000. Dyor. | deanowls
19/7/2021 08:30 | Not true Maccers. Not true at all. If there were firstly 1m pax and I am not disputing this if you’re saying 25 per pax where we s the 25m dollars booked by WSG. Now here’s something I do know. Airports report both incoming and out going pax. I would expect and if you want you could ask WSG this as I maybe wrong that they take a few from the airline for departing pax only. Then you have international flights and internal, they may only be taking from international as internal flights are usually hand luggage or they may get a small fee for providing the scanners to handle the foot pax if indeed they do handle this aspect of the operation. Some airports will have different service providers for different services. But in no way did they get anywhere near 25m dollars per COVID. | deanowls
18/7/2021 19:35 | Last line autocorrected. So as Dave was worried about targets they are being very conservative. Perhaps 50% so for DRC Year 1 | drmaccers
18/7/2021 19:33 | "Booked in" in that the people who need to fly and containers that need to ship are predictable.Tema port for example is growing with new berth opening sept.DRC numbers are apparently based on 1/2 usual Covid passenger numbers and then conservative. To get the $6mill revs "booked" for 2022 in broker note, would need 240k passengers at $25 each. The fact is there was over 1 million passengers a year pre Covid and it's running at 500k now. So as Save was scared of before they are being highly conservative | drmaccers
18/7/2021 12:48 | And if the total cost of the share issue last year was £733,000 ( from the results, and over 10% of the £6.9m raised) and probably about £250,000 on this years £2.5m raised, then the house broker would not overegg this would they ? They can be relied upon to be totally objective........ Some will have gone to lawyers, accountants, etc, but WSGs broker will have done very well, thankyou very much. | graham1ty
18/7/2021 12:36 | Or another way. House Broker forecast £2 mil profits and company does make that £5 mil shares go crazy. But if they forecast £5 mil and they make £5 mil it's seen by the market as oh they have met their forecast no big deal. Frustrating game | dave4545
18/7/2021 12:33 | Personally I hate it when a broker pencils in a really high profit target when they have years of losses or break even. Example. 2 stocks both 5.5-5.6p both worth £18 mil, identical fundamentals and business. House Broker A targets £3 mil profits for 2021 House Broker B targets £5 mil profits for 2021. Company makes £4 mil profits in 2021. Shares plunge because well below House broker A forecast of £5 mil Shares soar because well above House Broker B forecast of £3 mil They are really setting the bar high given WSG long history of losses, I'd have preferred, losses to break even then say £2-3 mil profits growing steadily. They are really demanding a perfect year next time no issues to hit that profit forecast. | dave4545
18/7/2021 12:21 | Maccers. How are they booked in when it needs passengers to fly and containers to move. Nothing is booked in. Certainly not 5m profit. At least understand what you have “invested̶ | deanowls
17/7/2021 11:25 | From: hxxps://masterinvest Westminster Group (LON:WSG) – This managed security services and technology-based security solutions group has won another useful contract. This one refers to it supplying security services to help protect the historic Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London. That is added to the recent contract news from the group – the long-term Central and West Africa mega-million contracts, as well that at the Palace of Westminster. Its profile is growing and so too are its shares, now 5.85p. Higher to go yet. | this_is_me
17/7/2021 10:38 | Post away regardless. Whatever me or you post here makes virtually no difference to anything. I just find the psychology interesting as to why you do. Basically all the 2022 revs/profits are booked in at the point ???? | drmaccers
17/7/2021 08:00 | Maccers, if it makes £5m, I undertake to cry into a bowl of cornflakes. If it does not, I will continue to post ! | graham1ty
17/7/2021 07:06 | This year Graham. And make £5mill next year. When will you cry into your cornflakes when you watched your hated WSG 10 bag? | drmaccers
16/7/2021 18:47 | Still a lot of Placees at 4p, very happy to take 5.5p. And Placees at 5.7p now losing money, and there will be enough, disillusioned, who will sell if it pokes its head above 5.7. When, if, ever, WSG make a profit, and generate cash.....it might change | graham1ty
12/7/2021 08:53 | Doesn't seem to have been properly noticed because everyone is jaded/hungover after the football last night . | broncowarrior
12/7/2021 07:09 | Strong start here - going very much higher. | philjeans
12/7/2021 06:51 | Seen Mos, wins a £480k contract and calls it a "major" contract over 4 years. I bet this WSG contract was bigger than that but for them it's not big enough to be worthy of a normal Rns Just shows how different companies market their deals | dave4545
12/7/2021 06:13 | This contract confirms the companies reputation following on from the parliament contract. | this_is_me
12/7/2021 06:09 | Another extremely high profile contract. It probs is worth more in PR around the world than the £ value to us | drmaccers
11/7/2021 20:26 | Always a bit of a worry when you need a boat to deliver a boat. Did UPS ever find the propeller? | kreature |
