Its a strange world , why hold the money if its not reinvested else where.
Its a free world and to get 20.6% for small holders is a mayor change on AGM meetings

Find it strange that someone is dissatisfied with current boards fees and wants the policy changed to an income generating company only
Then votes against a special dividend, a bit strange , would interesting to hear their reasons

The company will still have ample funding
There would still be monies left for the share repurchase programme and enough to possibly increase the dividend in the current year
If you could get to 25% you could probably block any company proposals like mates rates deals etc

How about adding my proposal to other 2 on your file
Proposal to pay a special dividend this year of $10m to shareholders either via a dividend payment or the issue of "B" shares to be issued to share holders pro rata and then repurchased by the company
This could also be made a proposal at the forthcoming AGM
Any thoughts from other holders?

Most II are not really bothered about doing anything about the share price or the internal politics in companies.
it is all about number crunching, portfolio %'s especially as it might be tiny in a portfolio or an inherited portfolio. That is why some people can pick up shares cheaply in small companies
I would have thought it might be worth approaching the current II's and see if they will get on board, you never know your luck

2 directors up for re election. in my opinion should be voted against being re elected, though have found in past cases they just get their jobs back because they are re appointed by other board members

K Roe owns less than a 100k of stock yet takes $500k
Interests of stock holders are not aligned

The buy back is for only 10%,though they would probably only buy in a few to make it look good

this should have been done much earlier as they knew they would be debt free now at this time last year

Maybe there should be a special dividend this year of up to $10m, Maybe this should be put forward as an extra resolution. in my opinion maybe through issue of "B" that can then be bought back by the company that approx value

Removing the $10m from the balance should stop the directors temptation to make a useless purchase

Really need to get to 25% to put the mockers on their plans
Otherwise they they will fleece it for years

Just look we have over 20% in the vote , not bad for small share holders.
For years we have waited for the company to come true , now its payback

A lot of directors in a lot of listed companies have taken pay cuts during the pandemic whether or not their company has been affected, not this lot
They haven't even got to turn up for an agm this year!

All the directors are vastly over paid for such a small company
Non execs own jack of stock and got paid nearly 80k each
K Roe got awarded a huge option package at a low price. It is funny how directors like to award themselves big option packages when the price is low
Why don't they buy in the shares as they are filthy cheap?
For example this large line of stock just moved at 15.5p, no they wouldn't do that would they,
Come on II's wake up and sort the board out

Precisely what I said on 13th May
Focus on raising the dividend
My partner has 87k and a friend owns just over 22k so not that many

They will follow me on that front
Any II's up for change and how about the new holder?

would rather they lifted the dividend by 50% this year and kept building the cash until this virus thing has played out

What short targets have you guys got here? Why is the volume so low here? What's the growth potential? Like the business but its still fairly small, can it grow much?

Buying more shares even after the Dividend , good cash cow and suspect the cash be used in part for a stake in another company.

Maybe they will be bid for at some point.
Cash flow is hopefully good at the moment
Directors don't own that many shares
They don't have any real background in buying any assets for diversification
The Mozambique licence was a total waste of time and money
the best thing to do is keep raising the dividend and then they will gain some sort of credibility as the share price is close to an all time low
they also lost credibility over the Oslo delisting because the shares have never been bought back.
At least they are one of the few companies able and willing to pay a dividend at the moment
I nearly bought some more as 18p was tempting but we have too many already and this has been a steady under performer for a while now
Maybe larger II can get things changed here
A large increase in the dividend will do nicely while we wait to see what is going to happen
