11/6/2020 14:20 | Just waiting for a buyer... This from the Interims of 26/2:- Summary We are pleased with the overall progress of the Company. We have restructured the business and, as a result, it is more balanced and generating a much-improved margin. We will focus on this key priority going forward. In terms of strategy, the Board are very aware of our key assets, namely the securing of our licenses in California, especially the long-term agreement with Cal Expo. There are still many hurdles to be overcome, and the next six months will be very busy with the potential for impending legislation and selecting partners. One thing is for sure: licensed Sports Betting is coming to California, and we hold a critical asset in the State Capitol. We are very aware that there is likely to be a stampede of commercial interest in gaming in one of the largest economies in the world. We will keep shareholders fully informed of progress in this area. | howdlep

11/6/2020 10:57 | We now have a real window of opportunity before the Appropriations Committee Suspense Hearing of 18 June, simply reveals the fate of the Bill. It is either passed with or without amendment or held in Committee. Negotiations are taking place NOW, ahead of the budget deadline of 15/6. The full implications of the huge budget shortfall will be known by then so extensive lobbying will take place over the weekend. CA cannot afford to lose the revenue that sports betting will provide. Now is the time to be buying WEB, as the share price will be much higher come the 15/6. | howdlep
11/6/2020 10:33 | Pull back complete | bean02
11/6/2020 10:04 | If we go to ballot in November the share price should hold around the 3-5p mark then explode if the vote is positive Hard to see CA holding out for much longer given that another 22 states have regulated already | trentendboy
11/6/2020 09:59 | The enthusiasm for sports betting in the states is unlikely to die away quickly. Possibly a good call to buy at 2.1p. | noirua
