Correct. A large percentage of the stock is in sticky hands, so it moves fast on low volume. Well observed. We'll make a trader/investor out of you one day Smithie. Keep it up lad. We all started somewhere. ;-)

I can lead novice investors to opportunities.....but I can't make them wealthy.

If the California ballot goes the way WEB hopes you will be eating your words Terminator. I am sure that there are a lot of private investors holding out for that very outcome. Far from there being mindless rampers attacking anyone here there is one poorly educated individual who is unable to explain exactly what his solution is to the situation that the company finds itself in

Just had a look at the unaudited figures released yesterday and comparing them against the half year ones from February. Feb figures show a net profit of $721,000 over six months.Full year released yesterday show net profit over the year of $824,000So in the last six months WEB's net profit was 824-721 = $103,000. Quite a reduction and certainly an element in the fall in share price. Since the company gave no clear reason for the profit drop (COVID related closures?) investors are either going to have to wait till full year commentary is included with the audited resultsHalf year figures in FebOr....a trading update to show the decline has been arrested

Nowt new other than from today / ADVFN:

"It’s “showtime,R21; Jamie Foxx, the Hollywood A-lister, declares in one of the many gambling adverts flooding America’s airwaves. Amid rapid growth across the country’s emerging market in sports betting, leading players are rushing to grab the best seats in the house. Investors’ interest was writ large in last year’s blockbuster listing by DraftKings, the Boston-based betting company now valued at $32 billion. Caesars Entertainment’s £2.9 billion deal for William Hill, the British bookmaker making headway in the United States, merely underlined the heavyweight operators’ determination to dominate. - The Times"

DEMARK - Long term investor Robert Johnson has bought several million over the last week or so and I suspect is still buying now:

Let me reiterate....I am pleased for anyone making money on WEB, however they do it as investors or long term holders. I have never held a position here. My only interest is correcting the misinformation given out by those who are ramping the share by suggesting that California sports betting is coming anytime soon.

I think the tweet from Everton Rob confirming an expected price of 30p has driven the rise as well here. No timescale but patience as an investor usually wins out. Testing 5p today doesn't seem out of kilter with price action today. GLA

Whole purpose of publicly traded shares is for investors to speculate on the future value they offer, so why the hell shouldn't they be entitled to rise after 10 yrs in relation to their potential US assets,
there is a scramble for access to US gambling that's a fact
