28/2/2018 15:01 | Guilty as charged there | waspfactory
28/2/2018 14:57 | Decent companies keep shareholders informed. Shareholders have every right to expect that interims & accounts will be released on the same date as the previous year's - unless notified otherwise. It is not a legal requirement -- like it is not a legal requirement to phone your wife to tell her that you will be 2 hours late picking her up from the station. | augustusgloop
28/2/2018 13:06 | No date has been formally announced for the interims that I am aware of? So not really appropriate to suggest they are late. | dixi
28/2/2018 13:02 | I'd have waited for the interims. They are already later than expected. | augustusgloop
28/2/2018 11:17 | Bought more sub 2p for bounce | maverick247
27/2/2018 19:36 | I can only quote the ops update on 19th Jan 2018 "Orion can only exercise its op on to the extent of unhedged tonnes produced in the month and so far this financial year Orion has not elected to do so." Given the fact that most hedges I have seen have been for approx. 1000 a month, that wouldn't leave a great deal leftover for Orion. I think, on average, there would be unhedged 500 at most, unless I'm missing any other hedged deals in place. | tren08
27/2/2018 19:21 | Tren08.I actually don't think there is any unhedged copper avail at pres.Could be wrong though. | billthebank
25/2/2018 17:32 | Orion haven't (so far) taken up their hedges on the copper. Which is a good sign. They have equity and debt. Best of both worlds - but can only truly realise the value of either is if they let the company grow. | tren08
25/2/2018 17:11 | Restructuring the debt is key. Expect a big re-rate when Orion start getting their cash back sooner than expected at a sustainable rate. | mreasygoing
25/2/2018 15:03 | Considering the price of copper has increased over the last 6 months and c1 costs for the first half of the year are about $5000... they have a chance of turning a profit. | tren08
25/2/2018 12:48 | Interims tomorrow? How bad are they going to be? | augustusgloop
22/2/2018 08:05 | Comment from KAZ results this morning. "The outlook for the global copper market is improving, as supply from existing mines continues to decline and additional output from new projects has been delayed. There is also potential for supply disruption in the short term which could affect a market that is tightly balanced. In the medium term, economic growth is expected to drive demand from traditional sources, combined with the potential development of new markets for copper such as the increased adoption of clean energy generation and electric vehicles." | jpsmithson
21/2/2018 16:44 | Results should be due this week. Should be tasty. | mreasygoing
20/2/2018 20:31 | Swinsco - "short" ha! | swinsco
20/2/2018 20:30 | Over priced at .50p? It's gone from .70p to 3.50p - with your shirt sightedness, you missed out on some profits! Who knows where it goes from here...but I've been buying again. | swinsco
20/2/2018 19:17 | I've made a note of your post gloop. When the share price goes bananas as the free cash flow hits the bottom line I'll re-post it for you. | mreasygoing
20/2/2018 17:00 | Anybody that can read a set of accounts knows that it was way overpriced at 0.5p | augustusgloop
20/2/2018 16:42 | Not where I was hoping this one would be right now. Feel sorry for those spiked over 3p. | spawny100
19/2/2018 11:56 | Mates Rates again for big ticket buyers. | leedskier
19/2/2018 10:57 | Orion will not take ownership here. That is not their way. I am invested here as I am confident that copper will continue to rise but even if it settles at just over $7000/tonne then all will be well here. Worth way more than £22M IMO Time will tell. For the present completely ignoring the negative stuff on here. Lets se where we are by the end of the year | billthebank
17/2/2018 17:46 | Apart from the gloomiest view posted by augustusgloop, what debt restructuring are investors seeing as feasible? The PoC is obviously playing an important role here in saving WTI's bacon, allowing for restructured payback and growing the company as opportunities arise. I would be surprised if Orion were wanting to take ownership here, but more inclined to think the nannying will continue until WTI can walk unaided. | dixi |
